Actually, the bottle/packaging prevents the germs to get inside the product (that is the cream) and only touches the bottle which can easily be disinfected or sanitized if you're concerned about germs and stuff
While normal cream tubs, if you share, you dip your finger inside the product (cream) which contaminates the cream which cannot be sanitized.
This packaging is supposed to be a hygienic way to your cream, just like you use your tube (just has been converted into a jar).
