- Fold a big square into 16 little squares. Crease well and remove the middle four squares. There will only be 12 small squares left. Now write 1 in four squares as shown. Write 2 in four other squares. Finally write 3 in the remaining four squares. Reverse and similarly write 4, 5 and 6. Now lock the flexagon. On rotating all the 1's and 2's will emerge in a wonderful sequence.

Hello, Sir. I did exactly as you did in the video, even though it took 30 minutes to make that fold into another 6. Ok. Finally I got it turned to a 6. But, my 1 and my 5 are totally hidden!!! What am I doing wrong? I keep turning and turning it, but the 1 and 5 never come into view!!! Thank you if you can help me!
I think u should unfold the flaps at first. At first

I would suggest first wrap the paper before writing number or any kind of drawing once ur wraping is done and you able to fold it after that write or draw

One time a lady at work was trying to show us something similar that we could use as a teaching tool. When she tried to demonstrate it it didn't come out right. I was so confused I decided I would never get it. Next time I'll have to remember to bring it to you!
