Yeah i noticed the first two a lot back in high school. Nobody would take anything seriously like ANYTHING. Every film they made had to be funny or a meme. Whenever we were put in groups they would come up with the most outrageous ideas and I'm like "how are we gonna do this?" And they were like "we'll just use green screen and yeah itll look terrible but thats the whole point! Its a joke!"
Definitely saw that in high school as well
Nobody wanted to make anything serious because the only point to making videos was to make it as dumb as possible
That last point hits hard. I’m planning this film that I really want to do with some friends, but leading it is the hard part. I have all of these scenes in my head, but I keep psyching myself out or saying I’ll figure it out later.
And it being too complicated is probably what’s holding you back.
If you’re a beginner, scale it back, don’t make something too complicated. Because a complicated film is going to make you think, “Oh, this is too hard, maybe I’ll put this on the back burner and I’ll write a new script”
That new script is probably going to be just as complicated as the last one, and you’ll be stuck in the loop again
Thanks man I needed to hear this... appreciate you & don't worry I'll never give up! thank you for ur helpful words truly!
Absolutely man! I think you'll make it big dude, keep grinding!
I'mma hold you to your word, don't give up!
