    Solving a rubiks cube is not something that you magically know to do. The only way to solve a cube is by memorizing algorithms. So when he says “only 6% of people can solve a cube” it’s because the other people just don’t want to go through the pain to learn algorithms.

    • @cursorjustvanished
      @cursorjustvanished Před rokem +35

      you don't need to learn algs to be able to solve it, yes they make it faster but 90% can be done intuitively and the rest can be solved with as little as 3 algs

      @@cursorjustvanished , name one person who has solved a 3x3 cube without the use of ANY algorithms. It is near impossible for a human to be able to do this considering that a 3x3 cube has 43,252,003,274,489,856,000 combinations. Also wtf is your pfp LMFAOOOOOOO

    • @cursorjustvanished
      @cursorjustvanished Před rokem +8

      @@nedrakaufman4449your combination argument is absolutely useless because no matter how it's scrambled you solve it the same way; yes you pretty much need to learn some algs but you need to be able to get to the point where you need them intuitively (aka without using them)

    • @nedrakaufman4449
      @nedrakaufman4449 Před rokem +19

      I’m thinking what you meant by “without using the algorithms” you meant seeing what the case is, then without thinking apply a pre memorized algorithms to solve it as fast as possible. I honestly don’t know why your using the word “intuitively” it completely does not apply to what we are talking about. I’m even wondering if you’ve ever solved a speed cube. Your saying that you first need to learn to solve the cube by using algorithms then get to the point where you don’t need to use algorithms. !?! 😂 algorithms are required to solve a 3x3 cube. Yes they can be solved in twenty or less moves but without any algorithms training or without knowing the beginner method, it’s near impossible. Your grammar is poor so I think it’s best if you stop talking. We both know you are wrong.

    • @cursorjustvanished
      @cursorjustvanished Před rokem +2

      @@nedrakaufman4449 when i say intuitively i mean for example seeing white edge pieces in certain spots and putting them in the cross spots, and how you said i probably can't even solve a cube then i can solve it in 15 seconds. another thing you're saying is how you need algorithms, yes they make the final layer doable if you're using CFOP but for example ROUX or beginner method you can solve it intuitively 99% and use a few algs such as CMLL for ROUX and pretty much everything with sexy alg for beginner method

    I was told that nose flaring was rare when i was like 9 by a kid in my class trying to flex, so I spent a month teaching myself how to do it. So, I believe it's not entirely a rare trait you're just born with, but just good control of the muscles. It's kind of like raising eyebrows in a sense.

    Or you just watch a yt tutorial teaching about an algorithm that when applied properly can solve any combination, and with it actually being a beginner method
    Then you get addicted to solving the cube because since there's like 4 quintillion or something patterns on a Rubik's cube, you pretty much will never get the same puzzle, meaning it's pretty much always a new puzzle and it's up to you to apply the method correctly.
