I work outside and can tell you this year has been shocking, bit of sun in June but that’s it😔
Roll on spring 😢
Spring will be the same 😢
Just more rain, absolutely fed up with it
There's a spring roll there somewhere.
Rained all spring & summer & autumn & winter. 🌧🌧🌧🌧🌧🌧
Where is winter 😮
Thanks for letting us know and happy new year
The strong winds suddenly dropped and is quite chilly at 6c under the South Downs. Poor Scotland and N England. Wouldnt mind a dusting of snow here in South East for a change
Thank you All at the Met Office for carrying on with your dedicated attention to our weather! 👍✌️🇬🇧
Let the Earth rest & do what it must do 😊🤗😁🎅🎄❄
High pressure hardly sits on the UK for a prolonged period of time except for July-Aug. The fact is that it's rainy, windy and cold most of the year. No surprises. We are not in southern Italy.
Well sure, but I have an older person's memory of sunny days that didn't involve heat waves
@@jackgreen1698 Yes, I remember those days too when 23 would be the max in summer.
Why are seeing so much extreme weather at the moment
I read that the Atlantic has 'warmed up' and with the jet stream position it is causing more extreme weather. Joy of joys!
I see a frosty night, clear sky... Saturday a mix for us. Thank you.
Happy New Year, everyone at the met office..
🎉🎉Bring on 2024🎉🎉
Mate, its still 2023 !!
@Mejox I know lol I always say it early so everyone can see just in case the sprits kidnapp my soul 🤣👻🤣
Roll on spring 2024
No Storm Hank? It certainly looks like a Doozy!
Seems our Met Office...not the Irish one...has decided by the time it reaches our shores it will not be severe enough to be named a storm. Henk...or Henc...named i believe after a forecaster in Europe...not sure what country though.
Hello
Met Office - UK Weather
Many thanks Alex. So, a few WET days then a (if we’re lucky) few dry ones, if the forecast’s still the same by then! Thanks Alex and a very safe healthy and happy New Year!😊
Please find a way to differentiate between cloud cover and snow when the graphice show precipitation and cloud cover... it might be rare that in the South of England you need that but in the Lothians of Scotland (the Capital City of a country for goodness sake!) it's all but impossible to tell where the precipitation might fall as snow when both snow and cloud cover are coloured white... i.e. if it's just going to fizzle out over the uplands and be cloudy after, or will snow reach lower levels on the other side?
Rain is easy to see because it's blue, but white on white and it's impossible to know if what turned to snow then turns back to rain, or is it simply cloud cover?
Where’s Nottingham then ?
Mild with Gales or severe gales...so you will be warm as you hear the roof tiles flying off...nice!
With this new storm what’s the possibility of another tornado?
Nice and cold here NE Scotland 🥶
Could someone kindly exp what a squall front is please
Are the UK due to get snow ??
Looking like the snow may not come back 😢
That is what he says
Can we have some SNOW?
