like to see dirty used tools and bags in reviews. i see so many vids with bags with tags still on em and tools that are showroom clean and the tech explaining how much they use them lol. keepin it real steve lav. love the vids, very good info.
Man these bags really are nice. I have the tech bag and I love it!!! It is heavy, probably not as much as yours...but these are very good bags for sure. I was thinking about doing a video on my bag but I haven't got around to it. Good video Steven.
Great video Steven ! I just bought the tech XL and I love it ! It weighs a ton since I loaded it with tools though. Kinda pricey but you get what you pay for.
Hey Steve if you're doing crawlspace work get a plastic snow sled with some rope. It can hold all your tools and parts, plus you can either push it or pull it.
I've just started using a tech lc as the bottom rusted out on my 20 year old metal box! Finding it a bit small also, but i have a couple of plans to help out with that. Am planning a vid of it when i get things sorted out a bit better.
I guess I'll have to get the XL now, go big or go home ! I have the tech MC and it's just to small my fieldpeice 660 is two tall and won't even fit in the bag. I have a tone of tools that would be useful to take with me. Great video
I have the Tech LC bag also. I keep all my meters on one side and my tools on the other side. I do keep my pipe wrench and channel locks with the meters to help balance out the load.
Just got the tech lc in the mail. I do 95% service work. First thoughts bag it's tough. Good zippers love the plastic bottom. Plenty of pockets for what I am doin. The shoulder strap sure is great. I just had to get one after seeing everyone lovin em on here!
Looks like an awesome bag. I thought about getting one but I hardly use the bag I have now. I tend to just grab tools out of it and throw some tools and parts in a bucket and go lol.
Hey Steven, those are some nice looking bags. I do a lot of Commercial A/C so I have to climb ladders to get on the roof and a heavy bag is a Bitch. I like the fact that you can keep all the tools from falling out. Keep up the good work. Ray
I use the Veto with the open top pro pac ot-xl, I like it. The down side of the Veto is, it holds too much, and I can't control myself from loading it up, It gets too heavy. The Veto strap is the best, it holds the bag on my shoulder nicely when climbing up a ladder. I've had other shoulder straps that would slide off my shoulder while climbing a ladder.
I like that veto tech Lc. That bag is perfect for hvac techs in florida.. One day I would love to buy one.. thnks for doing the comparison vid.. like the vid
Hey Steve, now that you've had the TechLC for a while, what did you end using it for? I've been looking at these Veto LC/TechLC/XL/TechXL and Klein bags, and am still debating a few things. You are one of the very few folks with a video showing two of them side-by-side, and the two sizes that I'm considering. Likewise your one of the few who video your actual tasks, but your toolbag rarely ever make it into the view. I'm still trying to picture the reality of having the hand tools split up between two different sides of the bag (versus a bag that open on the top like my current Bigfoot bag).
"You need that strap! That thing is one heavy bitch!" Haha could not stop laughing. I've been looking at the veto open top bag. I'm all about speed and I like to load and unload my tools QUICK! We will see though. That tech lc is one good looking bag!
My xl comes tomorrow. Can't wait! Thanks for the vid.
