I lay them out the same as your self lol such a detailed information and most motobike engine builds you see on other CZcams channels they only show so much and then fastwords with music which isn't help. I've had the pleasure of meeting this man to do some work on my engine and what a kind gentleman. Please just given such detailed information plz subscribe to his channel aa he truly deserves it with these videos so again please subscribe and give him a thumps up. Take care my motobike brothers.

If you're stuck in neutral you most likely have a worn or broken shift fork which will require splitting the case to repair. It's not that complicated to do if you're mechanically inclined. Just take lots of photos while taking it apart. Good luck!

      Hi Garth
It's hard to say without looking at it but I would guess that the fork on the end of the gear change lever isn't over the pin and is jammed up when you put the casing on
If it's not that I would take the clutch back off and see what's happening behind. See if you find a picture online what it's supposed to look like

Is it slipping just revving with no drive? Could be likely to the fact if you removed the friction plates the first plate must be place in a certain angle and the other plates stacked correctly on the top plate when you turn it if it won’t turn the transmission when in gear it is not in correct or plates are worn 👍
