i wish i had a brilliant hack for using what I have, but I have a terrible habit of seeing something on CZcams or Pinterest or somewhere, loving it, needing it, ordering it immediately... and then no knowing what the heck I was going to do with it. I really admire how frugal you are. Your videos don't only inspire me to make cards but to be more appreciative of what I have.
You're not alone....I feel your pain, oh how I do.🥴😉
Oh I know just how you feel also.
Have no ideas of what I am suppose to do with Gesso!!!!!
I have the same problem 😞 I’m working on it, but I am definitely an impulse buyer.
Glad I'm not the only one !
I've bought stuff, put it away never to see the light of day until I come across it. I then usually have to Google to find out what it is used for. I am also guilty of buying the same items again and only realizing when putting it away 😊
You know what!? Besides how simply beautiful those cards are. . .. you reminded me that i also use an alternative to share. You know those cans of hair spray that come out for the holidays, I think, well I have glitter ones. One is silver another gold and the other holographic.
But they're for your hair so they stick. I like to spray them on my finished cards and such.
Wow! Could you please give us some brand? Sounds great. 👍😀
@@mumstheword8851 I googled this for my area. Supermarkets stock it
@@mumstheword8851 mine day good mark. ?
Fabulous idea!!
What a clever idea, have to remember to get some.
Wonderful cards as always Natasha. A card making hack that I have been using is to use old styrofoam vegetable trays cut into strips instead of foam tape. A great way to recycle and use what we already have. Try it!!!
Love them Tash. My hack is when my glitter gloss pen ran out I refilled it with water and put some perfect pearls in it. You can’t tell the difference from the original. Love your work as usual. Xx
Every time you use a stamping block to stamp your greeting, I hold my breath. But you never seem to mess it up. Great ideas. Great cards.
Great to see that you put foam tape in the middle of your items that you pop up. I have seen other videos where crafters only put one square on each corner, therefore no support in the middle.
Green is my favourite colour and I have so many foliage stamps and dies - I love waking to a new video every other day and often go to bed anticipating the morning’s new discovery. it’s been especially positive during lockdown. Thank you for sharing your fantastic talents so often ❤️
Well i'm glad it gives you something to look forward to, thank you for taking the time to leave me a lovely comment xx
Love these little squares! The corner rounding of opposite corners really changed the looks of the squares!! Love how you used the glossy accents, also!! Such wonderful cards!! Thank you!
Once again, you continue to amaze me with simple and beautiful cards. These were amazing. Why can't I think of these on my own? I think that I over-think my designs.
I love both cards. They give me so many ideas for small pieces of unused cardstock scraps!
Oh wow, the glossy accents really looks beautiful on those foliage stamps - just enough interest without being too much. I realized I might actually need some kind of daisy die - I have so many of the larger enamel dots left over because I find them hard to use for “confetti” on my cards, but they would make perfect flower centers. I love how you focus on the basics that can be used over and over. I guess that’s the number 8 fencing wire culture of NZ at play - I remember being frustrated that we couldn’t get things cheaply and easily (I grew up in the NZ in the 70s-90s) but now I see the value in making do. It really encourages creativity and problem solving.
Lovely cards. Your voice sounds better. Hope you’re feeling better, too. Stay safe
Your brain must be an amazing place Tash, as soon as you start talking about what you could do, my mind goes 'yes' but only because you thought of it first. Love, love, love these cards. Can't wait to try them. Thinking rich Christmas colours with a poinsettia too. Thank you.
I was just thinking along the same lines Christmas cards glora so many options
You said you were looking for decorative edge circle dies. Look at - Pink Fresh Studio Essentials braided circle dies. They are available in Australia at Craft giraffe, $22.99.
I stumbled onto your CZcamss and I am thoroughly enjoying them. You keep your videos short with loads of tips and tricks and your work is stunning. Keep up the good work and keep them coming. Can’t wait to see the next one. 💜🤗🤗
These cards look great! I love that you can come up with such wonderful cards, using simple pieces! Love the idea of the glossy accents over the embossed images, too! Thanks for sharing! 😃
Really like both cards. The way you did 2 corners and 2 rounded gave the card a floral sense. 🥰
I absolutely love videos like this.....where you can stretch your supplies and come up with new and unique ideas. These cards are gorgeous and so simple to do! I have all of those layering shape dies from TH that are perfect for this type of card. TYFS! ❤️🦋💜
Hi Natasha, both of your cards are simply gorgeous and I love how just taking the corners off the squares can make a big impact on the cards. And your cards just shows that they don’t have to be some big production to be a beautiful card. So thank you again for your great ideas and inspiration, your totally awesome!🥇
What pretty cards! "Use what you have" is a wonderful challenge for all of us. Thank you for the inspiration!!
Such clever little cards! It has put my mind in a flurry... thinking of what I have on hand to try your process. Thank you for sharing ☺️
Love how you come up with so many new ideas. Love these cards.
How fun, using what you have! My motto! Well, most of the time 😁 . I think you have another trick to line things up if using foam tape- adding some glue for wiggle room. 😀
Great cards!😍😍
Really cute. I'd love to see more projects that don't use dies at all.
That special shape with the two rounded corners has a special name referring to its creator from the Bauhaus movement, but I can't remember what it is now.
So obvious, isn't it, to create it from simple squares.
Thanks for pointing it out for us - another easy-peasy card set!
Really pretty cards. You do come up with some amazing ideas. Simple but so effective. Thank you for sharing and hope you are feeling better. X
That's what I was going for, so you've made my day! Thank you xx
The gloss on the leaves really makes that card pop just a bit more. Love it.
They both turned out so beautiful! Thank you so much for making this video!!
Great way to use what you have and make something stunning. Love the use of glossy accents.
oh my gosh. I really liked the first one but then the second with the flower?! whole new level of elegance and beauty!
Loving the clean and simple look, again without breaking the bank . Big hugs 🤗 x
Such beautiful cards, Natasha ! You certainly have a way of adding the most basic details and it’s all they need to look impressive. Thank you for you inspiration ! 🥰👋😖
Great ideas again and two beautiful cards. Thanks for sharing
Hi Natasha. These cards turned out beautifully. I am so impressed with these cards. Love both of them. TFS. Keep up the great job! 💚🤗💙
Beautiful cards. Love the glossy accents and shimmer on the flower.🦋🌻
Great cards. They both came out great, but my favorite one is the unstamped with the flower in the middle.
Going to try this technique out. I LOVE it!👍😊💕
Love watching you create these! I check in almost daily to watch you! Thank you for all your hard work!
Love the simplicity of these cards. Thank you 🥰
Both cards are beautiful. I need to get myself some square stacking dies!! So versatile!!
Rounded squares really dress up these cards. Thanks for the different ways to use them.
You are a genius and so watchable ! Thank you for your tips and tricks along with your no- nonsense delivery !
I love the simpler and colorful cards. They are more to what I have in my stash. Thank you for some new ideas.
As I said before your the QUEEN OF CRAFTING 💜❤️
Great design. You sound like you are feeling better. Happy to hear.
These are lovely cards I will case.❤️👍
Absolutely gorgeous cards! Great fir using your scraps as well. Thanks Natasha 🤗
I always appreciate your choice of color combos and your ideas are terrific! I always feel very inspired to create when I finish watching! Thank you so much!
I love these cards :) I think I have a bazillion patterned paper scraps, so I think I am going to try and use those for the layering pieces, and see how it turns out :)
Wow Natasha -- you've done it again. Two more great cards. Thanks so much. 😊
Fantastic cards again Natasha. Simple but stunning. Thank you.
A few days ago I used a fine tip bottle which had cheap bulk PVA glue in it, I used it in place of glossy accents & was so happy with the outcome. As the 5litre PVA glue is heaps cheaper than glossy accents 🥰🤗
They look grest as always, I don't use green in my projects as often as I should, I must try it more often. Thanks for sharing 💖
My crafty hack is to use Poundland glitter paint from the kids craft section applied with a sponge brush also from the kids craft section of Poundland instead of using glitter card or glitter in my projects because glitter usually makes me itch...the paint however doesn't because I don't have to handle it like I would when using glitter card stock & it doesn't get everywhere like tubes of glitter.
Also If like me, you make fairy doors, the Poundland glitter paint works well on top of other paints for that hint of fairy dust/sparkle & a bottle lasts for ages 😆
Wonderful cards, I love the simple design; it gives a great result. Right now I am binge watching some missing episodes due to a vacation. Otherwise I would have started on this card immediately.
Am rewatching this video this morning (lazy Saturday) . . . aahhhh.
Clean and simple cards! Love it. Thank you for sharing.❤️

Love this as always. NEVER disappointed!! I have used clear nail polish from the dollar store before I got the clear accent. I did several coats to build it up.but it worked for me. Thanks again for sharing..
I love color blocking with black.
I love making squares with the rounded corner on opposite sides as well. It just adds a touch of elegance. Gorgeous cards.
Another great video Natasha. The green is very effective, I don't tend to reach for green. Must take myself out of my comfort zone. Thank you.
