I was in the store with my friend at the time oblivion was out for ps3. We were 12 yo and we didnt find a game that fitted our taste so i told my friend: i close my eyes and pick a game. So i randomly took oblivion out the shelf and gave him a copy aswell. We thought its complete crap based on the images and text on the back.
At home i played for an hour or 2 and immediatly called him and he was as hooked as i was.

Played that abomination of a game once, and since I fast level up I found out very soon that a guy with a dagger could power attack a full plate with shield and stagger me so long he could attack me again before the staggering animation ended. While in reverse situation attacking a guy with light armor and a shield with a 2H hammer he didn't even flinch.
I didn't knew that the more I levelled up the stronger enemies I would encounter would get.
After diying like an idiot many times I went online looking for answers and basically if you want to have a good game experience there are 2 ways : either stay lvl 1 all the game. or you have to level up only untill you reach the max stat for the build you want to have.
The point is player level is uncapped and so is monster level and stat. But player stats are hardcapped at 100.
After reaching 100 strength your damage won't increase anymore. But monsters density, level/rank, damages and health will keep increasing up to the point that the game becomes unplayable.
Since the game mechanics are so broken there are many ways to take advantage of it : gear with 100+% Camaleon (invisibility that doesn't break after interaction) or the Death over 3 seconds craftable spell (weakness to magic + weakness to element + damage over time + touch)
But why playing a game if you have to read guides to be able to play it or being forced to cheat your way to victory ?

The Oblivion OST will stay with you forever. Better gameplay than Skyrim

if you like the Oblivion OST I recommend you check out the Pillars of Eternity music, they seem really similar sometimes

Every character in Oblivion looks like they're the hard R-word.
There's a reason there's like 9 pages of mods tagged "face" in nexus mods.

thats the charm, dont make graphics the focal point when the gameplay is more fun than most modern rpgs

I'm personally wondering how the hell they managed to make FO3/FNV characters look so normal in the same engine

Advice: hire an editor who would sneak in some hitmarker sound effects every time you scratch your nose in your videos (so viewers could keep track on your killstreak).
