You can park on Thornaby road and walk down to the river. There is a lay by next to the allotments near what used to be the Jolly farmers pub. Hope this helps mate. It's a good stretch of river

Looked a nice few hours out Shaun I bet you enjoyed it buddy. Another spot that might be worth a try is in Thornaby on the river behind the Village club and the allotments. It's called black Bobby's field. I've had decent fish out there when I used to fish.
