    I have a 300 gallon indoor goldfish pond and my filtration is a FX6, DIY 2L kaldnes, big sponge filter, semi-aquatic plants in the waterfall, snails, and UV light. API water test always reads 0 across the board. Love your goldfish, bro!

    • @BryanLa
      @BryanLa  Před 3 lety

      0 for all three?? Thats crazy good especially for goldfish 😂

      @@BryanLa I was wondering if you know of any inline mechanical filters or how to make one? I need to connect one to the tubing for the pump connected to the waterfall. Detritus is building up in the rocks in the waterfall and it's a pain cleaning it every week. Thx in advance!

      @@Anytyme06 mmm.. if it builds detritus as much as it sounds, maybe an inline filter may be more tedious to maintain. Do you have an option to put a filtration sock up at the top of your waterfall? Or maybe a bowl with a bunch of holes drilled into it and some polyfil?

    • @Anytyme06
      @Anytyme06 Před 3 lety +1

      The sock sounds like it might work, I didn't even know those existed. Or I'll fit a thick sponge on the bottom. Thnx for the ideas!

    • @BryanLa
      @BryanLa  Před 3 lety +1

      No problem! Just make sure to clean the sock often because depending on the type you get, they can clog quickly. But it will definitely reduce the detritus on your display rocks.

    Thanks for the interesting video. Is a moving bed filter suitable for a plant aquarium? How to adjust the size of the filter to the size of the aquarium?

    • @BryanLa
      @BryanLa  Před rokem

      Moving bed can work for planted tanks but if there isn’t a lot of bio load I wouldn’t bother. K1 kaldnes depends on bioload and not tank size. So it kinda depends on how much you’re feeding

    Is it loud???

    • @BryanLa
      @BryanLa  Před 2 lety

      A little bit, the bubbles and K1 together is a bit noisy

    Nice. Does it work bro? Its remove ammonia?

    • @BryanLa
      @BryanLa  Před rokem

      It’s a filter media, so it converts ammonia to nitrite, then to nitrate

  • @ijazahamed994
    @ijazahamed994 Před rokem

    How much time or days it takes to circulate

    • @BryanLa
      @BryanLa  Před rokem +1

      Depends on your bioload. Mine took a week or two to tumble, and a month to cycle

    That fish poop likes unhealthy. Consider give your fish better fish food such as live bugs. You fish might have inter gastrointestinal disease. Plus man you need to clean that tank more often.
