Same, i was hopeful for tsm to make semi but thats as far as i saw them going. I dont wanna say oh get rid of this player or get rid of that player. Ill still support them and hope they make the right choices in the future. GG CG and better luck next time TSM.

I always got this feeling, tsm's problem is not on the players but to the team's environment itself. It felt like they are forcing their own version of ideal environment making it look like fake and awkward.
I think someone's finally hit the nail on the head. As many great teams have an identity, but an underlying goofy/able to meme/more open mood is undeniably present on C9, TL, and CG at the moment. IMHO being completely focused all the time with your coworkers (analogy) is going to make you get pissed. It's normal to be able to joke around with the same people you have to work with some of the time. Unrelated it seems that without having to worry about the ego of an Org and their fanbase would also make these player's lives easier. Svend and BB really seem to be impacted by the stigma the most.
I feel the same as well, those guys almost seem to try and keep everything so clean with no essence
TSM forces people to play "a certain style" which makes them lose their identity as a player. You could give them Clid or Broxah or Tarzan and they would still lose. You need to allow players to play their own style. Else you gonna have Huni/ Khan on SKT all over again. Also TSM is out and im happy.

@@dennisbloomer7171 BB is bad, I really don't get the overhype. As of late BB is like a bottom 3-4 top laner. Sven has been pure garbage since coming to NA. Akaadian played some bad games, but I really don't see how you bench him over Sven or BB. The worst part is that those are their imports.

To be fair, he's also extremely lucky to have been in the situation he was in TSM. The guy was legit out of LCS, not getting any offers until he got one for Academy. And because Grig was injured / couldn't play, he got to play in LCS just to fill in. And then... Well the rest is history
@@rap1d715 The thing is Akaadian was doing so well and got all the way to finals with TSM, then they decided to swap him around all the time and ruined the synergy he had built with the team as well as his confidence.
Unfortunate sitiuation, but I hope TSM manages to turn it around in playoffs.

Sigh, TSM will never learn. They can't handle that a Jungler needs more room to control their game, not some lane slave/ward bot. Biggest mistake they did was getting rid of Svenskern in the first place. He had issues, but that is stuff that develop over time. It hurts to see how they kill their own team, and honestly i'm not even a fan of TSM anymore. It's basically only Bjergsen at this rate.

I'm sorry but that actually didn't make sense. I can understand potential but to go for Spica after one match weekend instead of smoothing out the wrinkles with the other two junglers that have been there the entire split makes no sense. I hope I'm wrong.

There seems to be a trend where new TSM junglers have an early honeymoon due to the generally positive environment and individual talents, slowly the pressure of being on the most successful org in the region gets to the jungler and then their performance deteriorates, which provokes more criticism and we enter the vicious cycle once again.
This move may just as well be TSM management realizing this situation, and trying to make the best out of it.
Okay, so Parth was saying they had a lot of synchronizing and meshing issues, and that the team was not on the same page, but the entire time he said this they showed Akaadian on screen for 10-15 seconds lol. That has to be a big hint right?
Also, it seems everyone on TSM highly regards Grig, but TSM fans still shit on him, mainly because people like Akaadian and they view Grig as "destroying" Akaadian for some reason (TSM fans don't use logic, obviously).
Spica has always been regarded as a good jungler by just about everyone in solo queue and the professional scene. He was in the scouting ground with Blaber and Ablazeolive, but he was just too young at the time for a starting spot. He IS the franchise jungler for TSM, and it seems he'll be in the main roster for a long time. Remember that Grig was a quick replacement for Mike Yeung, and that Akaadian was a quick replacement for Grig hurting his wrist. This is the first jungler in a while where they actually get to plan ahead and put him in the main roster. Either way, it's a good sign. The illogical "It's so close to playoffs this is so stupid" does not mean a team shouldn't be trying to improve all the time. It was very clear Akaadian and TSM didn't mesh and it's better to put yourself in a position to improve than continue the disappointing trend.
They don’t mesh because akaadian understands it’s a jungle meta and meanwhile tsm still trying to play controlled scaling, it DOESNT WORK. ITs the org not understanding they need to change at a fundamental level!
I for one am excited for Spica regardless of how playoffs go. The kid WILL be great. He's a jungle wiz, and everybody who knows him knows it. He's going to need time. And the team will need time to develop synergy with him.
As for next split, I expect to see Zven gone, and Tactical in as starting ADC most likely unless they find an ADC without a contract. TSM is "rebuilding" while still being in the race, even by a little bit. BB is young, Spica is young, and Zven probably leaving leaves a spot for more young talent with Tactical, or a contractless ADC.
I completely agree with this sentiment and am shocked this isnt the take more people have.

I don't think jungle is the problem in TSM. I like Spica and he's doing fine. Akaadian and Grig are good junglers. Different play styles ofcourse. BB is 50/50. Sometimes he's poppin off and sometimes he's not. Bjergsen is still 1 of the best midlaners in NA. Smoothie is a good support. Nothing changed. Zven the other hand.. I don't know what's going on with this guy. Ofcourse he makes plays sometimes, but most of the times he's making bad calls/decisions. For example doing red buff in the enemy jungle? Like what are you doing? You're not playing SoloQ.

It feels to me like Zven is the main issue of this roster. Even in the victory against FlyQ it was him randomly getting caught that led to FlyQ starting baron which magically got stolen; if that didn't happen it probably would've been another loss for TSM because of their AD. Also watching all the TSM Legends episodes it really looks like the guy's confidence is 0 which seems to affect negatively everyone around him.
Crazy how loads of people (including me) saw TSM as better than TL last split even after their loss in finals. But find themselves here after everything. Really saddening to watch. I loved watching this roster perform.

I wish I could talk to some of the players and/or coaches to ask them more questions...it seemed from my (admittedly objective) viewpoint that they did well with Grig. Not perfect by any means but they seemed to do pretty well at the start of the split (winning 4/4 of the games he was in when they were switching him and Akkadian). All memes, flame, and rumors aside, I would really like to ask them more about it.....

Gr8 choice! I love the idea of changing the jungler every other week ! It's not like jungler needs to have a good understanding of the way lanes play, good communication thrue out the game but especially in early to multiply leads lane make, coordinate objectives, control vision and few other things that I quess don't matter. I loved TSM since worlds season 2 when I started playing league and for the first time I'm so frustrated with the decisions make.
Not even a TSM fan but I really hope you guys can make it back to finals again!
