BluesNight "Tennessee Whiskey / I'd Rather Go Blind" April 25, 2024

Brendan jumped into the BluesNight jam at Strangeways for his very, first time and requested a song. So, Therochelle stepped up to the mic and brought it, Virginia style. The first time Chris Stapleton ever put "Tennesse Whiskey's" lyrics over Etta James' "I'd Rather Go Blind" was right down the road at a soundcheck in Charlottesville. In truth, almost all popular music today comes from the Blues. So, we love that this mash up is just like taking the music back home to visit its Mama.
