Crown Green Bowling in Lancaster | Lancaster District CVS Team Social

The LDCVS team recently hit the green for a fun social! We had an absolute blast at Luneside & Rosebank Bowling and Recreation Club, where the amazing club secretary, Graham, gave us some “impeccabowl” guidance on crown green bowling. We started with soft target practice bowls before moving on to the heavier numbers.
Most of us were newbies, but we were all hooked! Crown green bowling is perfect for all ages and abilities, offering benefits from stress reduction to socialising. Plus, there’s no dress code - Mark and Steve rocked their wardrobes most elaborate for the occasion! 😄
The green is in a beautiful spot, just a stone’s throw from Lancaster train station. The club is looking to boost its membership with an affordable annual fee of just £40 and has exciting plans to become a junior bowling development centre. But you don’t need to bowl to enjoy this fantastic venue. The club aims to be a community hub, ideal for unique team-building events like ours!
