- Hello guys welcome to another video. In this one i show you how to enter in diagnose mode and understand the codes. in my cause it was related with the vacuum solenoids.
cheers - Auta a dopravní prostředky
Best way to prevent this issue of sticky/faulty vacuum solenoids is simply to exercise all the 4x4 controls regularly
It worked somehow 🎉I have an exam tomorrow and I am in vacation couple hundred km away from school . all the car fix around me is out of reservation thanks a lot
Weldone Frank
Perfect fault finding process
Appreciate it bro🙏🏻
Great video brother, I envy your scrapyard of Pajeros damm.
Awesome job! Great video!
Great work 👏
Great work
Tq bro your tuturiol very useful
Thanks
You are correct about the obd2 My mk908 doesn't show anything for the 4wd I'm assuming that it's because it isn't a module controlled system...per say.
Yes exactly, but you can still check for errors. That procedure found in service manual. Thanks
@@frankcumaio8328 yes ground pin one on the dlc. I work by the service manual as well. Enjoying your videos

Hi Frank, i am also from Maputo and i’m about to get a 2001 Pajero DID 3.2 but got alot to learn. Do you have any social media Where we can chat, please?
Hi Frank. Great videos. I have a problem with my Pajero. Can you help please?
Great video man.
I have 2009 3.8 v6 and super select just blinks at the center if i select anything other than 2wd.
I'm going to start checking the upper solenoid 😅
Did you find it?
I have the same problem, but my solenoids both click and have good resistance.
@@horeamarinescu1016having issue yellow light blinking after speed up
@sanober1518 mine blinks permanently, however while the engine is running if I put in any 4wd mode, the light keeps blinking, if I switch engine off and put the canlr in 4llc or 4hlc and I start again, it works fine, if I change to 4h or 2h the diff light starts blinking again.
@@horeamarinescu1016 yes the same happen with me ..if m over speed it blinks yellow one and once I turn off the car and restart it's fine ..do u show it to anybody..is it normal or big issue..plz let me know
Mine just blinks.

@@frankcumaio8328 awesome bro but where is that country?
@@brandongoberdhan6335 its located in Southern Africa,My city borders with south africa
My 2001 montero (pajero) limited does not go into any of the 4wd selections maybe this can be my same issue. I hope so.
cool
Thank you Frank. does your Mitsubishi Pajero have a 4m41 engine? I have seen forums complaining about grounding cars of after 2000. I have a gen 3 Pajero with a 3.2L DiD 4M41 Engine.
Welcome Francis. Mine has 6G75 engine, the early 4m41 non common rail were the ones prone to failure. The fuel pump fails
But the one on the video has 6G72, the one that i own now is the one with 6G75
@@frankcumaio8328 thank you for this response. Mine is a 2003 gen 3 pajero. It has in it a 4m41 engine, 220k on the odometer. the fuel injection pump is a Zexel vrz pump. It cranks for 5 seconds before starting. When engine is till below running temperatures the RPMs are 750. Once it warms up, when i engage it to load, the rpms drop to between 650 and 700. And then after a short will it will stall. Starting it warm or cold takes it 5 or more seconds to start
👍👍👍👍👍👍
What is the symptom?my car same problem the middle light blinking.the car wont move..
How did you tool off the pin. I cant do it. I dont know how
Hey man nice video. I did the procedure and my center diff light is constantly blinking. Also my abs light too. What does this mean?
Hello, If you have ABS lights on all the time, please look at your ABS sensors. Most likely one of them at least is dead and sending the signal to the ECU. Once fixed all will be fine. But before you do this make sure that your break fluids are at optimal levels and your break pads are all good. Low levels of the the break fluid could trigger error codes too
I was wondering is this salvage yard still around for Mitsubishi Montero
yes in Mozambique
So are there two vacuum solenoids, one under the air filter and the one with the actuator?
You have two solenoids under the air filter and one actuator at the bottom near the front diff that engages it
@@frankcumaio8328 i thoutht the one by the actuator was a switch to tell the computer if the front diff is engaged or not
@@orlanmedina3693 I taught he was mentioning as a vaccum solenoid. But yes we have one switch for the position near the actuator. It has two wires
check fuses under the dash i found a blown 10 amp blown replaced it and all good
Which fuse was it?
Hi, could you shate the list of errors?
i did the same but the ligth still on
any idea??before i go for swiches?
Can you check if you dont have any wiring around the gearbox switches cut? Which code you got

I got the same code but both selenoids are working, vaccum actuator works fine, no idea what could be
Hi Mauro. Check the solenoids in the transfer case could be those. Also check for the codes do you have them?
@@frankcumaio8328 4x4 system is working fine when vehicle is in the on posición but engine not starting, then start the engine and from 4H to 4Llc works fine, then put back in 2H and center lock light start blinking. Code is 34
What did you find to be the problem? I have the same problem, both solenoids are fine and I get error code 33
