Never seen those clocks before, mine had side by side crome clocks, beautiful bike 😊
Reminds me of MY first street-bike... '82 Kawasaki GPz 550
Same engine. It’s a 90’s gpz550 really
You guys must be bustin ass at the compound, crankin out bikes, details, repairs, upgrades, video's 👍👍👍👍
Your right Paul....round the clock 7 days a week til bike week
My dad has a Green Zrx 1100 he’s been thinking about selling. That thing is a beast.
I want it 860 916 9784
My brother got one had it for years he can't let go of it fantastic bikes.
Are they reliable?
Look like she just rolled off the showroom floor supreme clean kap
God bless America 🇺🇸
Wow. I had a 1991 zr550 loved that thing. And yes literally rode the tires off that thing multiple times. Wish I still had it.
How much did it go for I’m super interested
Should have sent Kaplan America with the Mars rover to do a wheelie at touchdown! Yayaya!
Once again Ken, the bike is spectacular, basically N.O.S. . You are bringing in the best of the best. Museum grade. Then you take it to the next level. In the end it all comes down to getting those carbs to perform like FI. You have said it many times, purchasing these bikes from you, you are getting not only a killer piece but more importantly you are getting a mechanically sound machine. Nothing worse than a bike that stutters no matter how pretty she is. The preservation service and attention to detail is priceless. Not many are doing what you are doing. Definitely no one on this scale outside of private ventures. Can't wait for your next adventure and bike round up road trip. Maybe out west?
Thanks Brian. We are heading to bike week in Daytona up and will be up-and-down the East Coast for the next adventure Then out West mid summer stay tuned I'm gonna do a blog for the old venture
Well said, this is exactly why I want to buy an ironhead from them in the near future ✌🏻
What a machine!!😮
Have never even seen one of those before...!
That bike has a great look to it
Senior I luv your mental and physical fitness
Love the content👌
Love the bike. Saw this 1 year to late . I think the eddy Lawson thing is a stretch .
In my opinion you should have the auction in late April or early May instead considering driving to CT in the ice & snow is a absolute white knuckle ride nightmare
We are having the next auction April 16, the bidding is done online And we have detailed photos and videos and they are on eBay link will be up tomorrow at www.kaplancycles.com
Who's the bimmerhead that owns the e30 & e36 lol
Jr
so quiet. kinda be a shame to scrap that super nice factory 4 into 1 pipe. wb
It looks like a Mac pipe
Like a Swiss watch.
i disagree. i have it with 75k km and its serviced regulary but ist rattles and even hot its not that good
Clocks aren't original should be chrome pot type! otherwise nice bike.
you should place the mic by the engine not the exhaust. NEW MC needs over 1000 dollars service??
It's 30 years old. "New" with something like this is a grey area between actual age, and condition. Even if a 30 year old bike sits with zero miles on it, many rubber bits are going to age out, and all fluids will need to be replaced. They run the engines before selling them, and the old gas in the carbs will be fouled, and need a going through. This is basic stuff.
Its 30 years old, antique plate eligible in ct, hell yes it needed services!
i dont think any bike has been abused untill sr rides it n lets get rea your never gonna ride any bike to california ya might trailer it there n ride it lol
Yea he does .i would never ride a bike the way he does if it were not mine, definitely not if I'm trying to sell it. I guess someone told him it looks cool. He undoes 1/2 the good work the mechanics do.
