  • The Adamello-Brenta Nature Park was Italy's first national park. It lies in the Southern Alps in the province of Trento and was established in 1967. The character and symbolic figure of the park is the brown bear. The protection of the last Italian occurrence of alpine brown bears was also one of the decisive reasons for the establishment of the park. Filippo Zibordi is on the trail of the almost extinct animals. He studies their mating behavior and ensures that their caves are protected.

Falsa l'affermazione del primo Parco in Italia. Ci furono il Gran Paradiso nel 1922, il Circeo nel 1934, lo Stelvio nel 1935,... Non è , poi, nazionale, ma regionale il parco. belli, comunque, i filmati.

I have to inform you, that in Slovenia they have just shot 230 brown bears (in 2023!!!!) It doesn't look like a protection of brown bears at all, but they are legally protected. Slovenia is in EU and an Alp country. The professionals could not find any other solution. I think this kind of policy should be punished! First they do nothing for years and than they kill bears in cold blood and sell the killing as a tourist attraction.
I hope in other countries the story is different.
