I was taking pain medication for a long time and i am pre diabetic.

You are a very genuine person and it shows in your content. What you are saying sounds very raw to most, maybe extreme. But when you are in this position no one can imagine how a mans mind works.
Im not going to put anything in a CZcams comment. But I was injured during duty and it messed my head and body too, still does. Life is often unfair, painful and depressing but I’ve found that it is during those times its best to set small goals. Number one. Get out of bed. Each and every day. Sometime that’s the one goal you can achieve even though it may be hard. There is only hope in life. Make that your goal. Stay as healthy as possible and always set goals for tomorrow ... however small.
If it comes to the worst, start a kickstarter and get the best prosthetic in the planet. I believe in the good of people and it's no longer about the channel or making money, if you need a very expensive prosthetic to walk, don't feel any shame and ask your audience who has followed you for years. If anyone thinks this is a good idea, like this comment, make it go to the top and show you support Elric, vote up any comment similar to this, fear can only take over when you feel alone.

A kickstarter wouldn't really be the way to go, a gofundme would fit this much better as he wouldn't be trying to start a new project but to get funding for something he may need.

There is a guy here in England that makes 3D printed prosthetics mainly hands etc for charity and commission he designs everything himself and does amazing work. I feel soo bad for elric hearing this news and have followed him for years, I for one noticed some of these changes that he talks of. An even though a prosthetic is not going fix him at least still give him mobility to help with this stress and depression that he's going though. An amazing idea

Been watching your videos since 2013 when I first built my computer and was deciding if I wanted a R9 270X or a GeForce 660, it's just a shame you're not your old self where you used to be energetic and enthusiastic - I honestly miss that Elric but there's nothing we can do now, all I can say is get well and I wish nothing but the best for you buddy, stay strong.

Im seeing this vídeo again...and having passed by health issues from my wife... I can say I'm happy that exactly 1 year later u are felling better and my wife too. Just came home from seeing Avengers Endgame...the movie was epic...but my heart was overwhelmed by pure joy by seeing her doing everyday stuff. God bless you man. I saw a video where this old guy has parkinsons and takes a few drops of cannabis oil and all his shaking stops completely. I usually don't comment much on CZcams but seeing an awesome guy like you go through this breaks my heart. Please monitor your glucose level, that's what's making you feel very cold and have that slow healing. Here where I live, our small hospital does 1 hour hyperbaric chamber for diabetic wound treatment and we've saved every patient wound. I hope you can have access to such a treatment. Dude stay strong i have been watching you since 2009 back on motherboards.org you reviewing the 5770 got me to buy a set for my first ever crossfire i have a family friend who had parkinson's he lost his right leg due to diabetes but i ended up loosing him last year to cancer i can tell you this keep fighting and praying man if you need a break from youtube then take you a break just promise to not give up hope.

Cannabis oil has been shown to be effective against infection, for treating symptoms of Parkinsons, and for Diabetes treatment. I hope that he sees your comment and does some research.

The only real 'treatment' for diabetes is to cut sugar out of your diet and replace it with healthy fats and learn your body to get energy from fat (ketosis) instead from glucose. Your blood-sugar will remain much more stable, the majority of diabetics don't need medication any longer once in ketosis, and you don't have to inject insulin either if you're type 1. I said 'treatment' because it doesn't cure your diabetes (nothing can, btw), but you will avoid the symptoms of diabetes.
For those healthy and not yet diagnosed with diabetes: replacing sugar with fat will significantly reduce the odds that your body will develop diabetes. And if you don't over consume (i.e. don't eat more than your TDEE), consume mostly healthy fats, as well as exercise, then you don't have to be afraid of developing cardiovascular disease (plaque buildup) either.
if its between this and opiods, cannabis is ALWAYS a better alternative and would actually treat parkinsons
