Hi Jeremy. I want keyboard😅 hope you notice this😅
Go Jeremy with movement three of Beethoven's Moonlight!!
Eleven hundred sounds better :)
i kinda want to buy it just for the color 😍
Me too, no joke. And the textured keys are gorgeous.
I appreciate your attention to detail and beautiful playing. Just purchased one thanks to your video presentation. Subscribed!
PX-S models are great. Thank you for your introduction and the demo presentation.
I liked it very much. Thumbs up !
Great tune to open the video with, a true man of culture no doubt. 👍
8:49 improvements #1 and #2 on the px 1000
9:11 sound demo
10:43 improvements #3 - #6
11:51 improvements #7 - #10
Jeremy, nice balanced video, to the point, and not too long. The right amount of explanation and the right amount playing and variety of music. You pointed out the new PXS1100 features in an understandable way with good detail. I appreciate that. Keep up the good work. From a fellow (non CZcams) reviewer...
Thank you for your kind compliments buddy. ❤️
I have watched dozens of reviews on pianos and always find my way back to Jeremy. He just does everything so perfect. My parents have an upright piano in the living room but I can only play it when they’re not home because I’m shy LOL so I’ve wanted a keyboard of my own I can lock myself away in my room with. So. At 3:42am I can confidently say, I have just purchased my first keyboard and am absolutely thrilled. I went with this one in particular because of the features that it beats out on other models and of course, it’s impossible to beat that beautiful red color. It should be here within the next few days and I am absolutely geeked out. Thanks Jeremy for all the work you put in your videos that helps us make decisions on what to choose!
Update: Have had it for nearly 2 weeks and have played it ever single day for hours. Absolutely love the sound and the feel of it. One of my favorite things about it is connecting it to the app and layering the piano and string voices together. It makes me feel like I’m conducting an orchestra. It really makes the whole thing come to life. One of my best purchases yet!
@@LifeOfSpencer_ that's awesome!! I'm thinking about buying it as well
@@renzocastillocaceres worth every penny
Thank you for your great review! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I finally bought this piano, and i'm new to piano. Thanks Jeremy.
Greeting from Batam
I really love it,especially how well the keys are pressed, and the way u play howls moving castle,it's amazing xD
Great video! your videos helped me choose the right piano to buy so thank you!.
Great review master Jeremy ! I'll go for it .
There is so much beautiful string resonance, I’ve been contemplating between this and the kurzweil sp 7, they both have phenominal sounds and I’ve been looking at the yahama ck88. The Casio does have really short pivot points and you notice it bigtime when you try it out
Thanks Jeremy, that was great info'.
absolutely love it
Excellent video!
on the psx 1000, you can save one set of sound settings by holding function and pressing the highest a flat. it will bring those settings up every time you power on
Yup. A single setting is really inadequate though. 🥺
Man your "Merry Go Round of Life" part at the beginning was so mesmerizing! Can you do a full version of it as a video? 😍
Just own this for one month as Covid hit Taiwan. Love the sound, design, double headphone jack…For a beginner learning Jazz chord it’s a little tricky playing four note chords with black and white though. Have not tried those advanced settings. Love the sound mode that adds more stereo depth~~
Why it's trick? Could you elaborate more?
Ohhhhh is that the Merry go round of Life? Also I guess PX-S "eleven-hundred" would be easier to pronounce, great review and demo again Mr. Jeremy!!!!
Casio seems to have the best designs.
There's a "young spirit" look in terms of design.
Their sound is slowly competing with other brands too.
Well said👍👑Casio is Made for amazing upgrade❤
CASIO 💎 #1 💎
I liked the As The Deer demo. Great review. Thank you for such a high quality video.
I just found my next keyboard upgrade, thanks 🎉
Came for the review, stayed for the music, great review ;-)
The piece at the beginning is so beautiful. Love to watch your videos
It's called "Merry-Go-Round of Life". It's the theme of studio ghibli's Howl's Moving Castle.
Best arrangement is sold by Jacob Koller.
I prefer Animenz and parad1se@@JoeLinux2000
Thanx, Maestro 🌹🌹🌹
Hi , Jeremy
i would like to ask for your advice. At the moment, the price of the pxs1100 vs pxs3000 are the same (the shop reduces the price of pxs3000 ) . Which one would you recommend?
I used to play classical music with the upright piano my entire life and have stopped playing the piano for 5 yrs. Now I would love to practice classical music again and also learn how to play the keyboard in order to be able to enjoy playing pop music with this instument.
thanks in advance😄 I love watching your videos. You really help the others with the information as a professional.
Great channel bro. Merry Christmas
Happy holidays!
Amazing video, love your content. This keybord looks really good and i cannot wait to buy it, just one quick question. Do the keys allow you to do different dynamics ( piano, forte, fortisimo...)?
Yes it is touch sensitive.
Got my pxs1100. im practicing every day and its very funny to play. i like the keys action response who put me on my song with heart, its very expressive. Thank u Jeremy for your videos
Nice Piano.. Very Good Demo👍 What music at 2.37? Thank You..
STAY SAFE🙏
Thanks Jeremy, very useful indeed, after starting my first lessons with a real teacher and on hammer action my home lessons feel a bit weak on the ctx...So maybe i order it for practice and home use and the ctx more for Sound Design and arrangements, man, that wasn't planned 1 year before 😅😉👍
Rock on!
Hi Jeremy, do you know if they fixed the issue of the black keys being lighter than the white keys in this edition? Thank you!
A tiny suggestion: include the name of the keyboard in the video title. I searched 'px-s1100 review' and this video didn't appear haha. Great video!
Damn, I have bought the PX-S1000 a couple months ago
More suitable-for-gig look and USB flash drive port is just the thing I am a sucker for 😭
Hoi jeremy ,ik heb nu een casio gp510 gekocht wat vind jij van die piano is dat een goede keuze geweest.
Vriendelijke groeten Richard
Hi Jeremy, I'm trying to decide between px-1100 and cdp-s160 for a toddler beginner who insisted on a red piano.
Pricing aside how should I decide between the two of them.
Nice. Can I use the PX-S1100 (with WU-BT10 included) with Bluetooth headphones or just wired ones?
nice video!
Very Cool! Seen here first!!! Jeremy with the inside track! Any changes to the Keybed, or is it basically the same as the Casio PX-S1000? By the way, you are a killer good keyboard player. You really cranked on those classical tunes, pleasure just to listen. Terrific preview!
Thanks bud!
trying to watch this but every minute there's another ad to have to watch!
The "merry go round of life" in the beginning is beautiful, as an anime fan i rejoice 😄
Hello! May I ask, do you know the usual size of Casio 88 keys piano crescendo? I'm planning to buy one in an online store ie lazada PH. Thanks! ☺️
Can we make recording from our mobile phone while having video? To have video from the phone and recording on the piano?
If Yes,,how please.
Thanks Jeremy
What’s the name of the song that you play in the beginning? It’s beautiful !
Can you make a video on portable, silent pianos for beginners? Thanks
You played as the deeeeer❣❤❣❣🔥🔥
Would have liked more demonstrations on what and how to do the functions instead of playing for minutes at a time.
love that piano and your music 😍💕🎶
I once had a PX S3000 and it was a ok instrument for a cheap price. Good keybed and sounds. However, the pedal noise gave doble and triple noises, wich was a dealbeaker for me and I got rid of it. Hope this is fixed on the 1100
yoo man now days casio is becoming better i love the cts-300
I've owned 5 Casio pianos...the last being the 560...all have a "clunk" in the middle register... don't know why they haven changed the sampling on their "pro" products... currently play a Yamaha 515...there are many things I like about the casino's including low weight, key action and value.
Do you know if you can use the Line outs for guitar pedals? Theoretically, could I Line Out to a pedal, then line back in to the piano? If not, is there any way to run this through pedals? Thanks for any info you or anyone else could provide!
"merry go round" by joe hisaishi, from anime movie ""Howl's moving castle""
Hi Jermey, do you know what songs from QUEEN I can play on a
Yamaha PSRew300
Hello, I'm so confused in selecting a keyboard that for last one month I'm just browsing on youtube. Frankly speaking I've no knowledge about music but I wanna learn for my pleasure. My priority is sound quality, my budget is around 500usd. I've shortlisted YAMAHA PSR I500, KORG EK50/EK50IN/EK50L, ROLAND E 09IN. I'm an Indian but more fond of western music, basically 90's. Could you please help me in finalizing the right choice.
This is crazy 🙈
Affordable and it has build in beautiful Piano sounds.
The drawback it has only 2 sensors key. The rest is amazing. 👍🏼
The two sensors are barely noticeable when you're playing
I like the first song you played ,
What's the name of the song ?
Thank you 🙏
Thanks so much for your continued videos, Jeremy! You have become my go-to for trustworthy and thorough reviews of all things pianos / keyboards.
Big question: how would you personally rate this keyboard against the Yamaha P 125? I already have a Yamaha DGX 670 and absolutely adore it, and am looking to upgrade my gig / rehearsal keyboard. Any thoughts / advice much appreciated!!
Man, Casio's doing better these days - it's got more responsive and considerate than before, right?
How was the action on the black keys?
what is the version of howls moving castle that you learned? It seems more playable than anything else I can find and I wanna learn it.
I'm a pretty good researcher so pay attention. I studied some piano about 50 years ago and did pretty good as far as I went largely playing scales and exercises. No matter how I shake it, I always get back to Casio as the best mix of value, features and the greatest ability to remain functional as your abilities advance. If you want true weighted keys, graded action, duplication of piano function for practice purposes, versatility in other modes and no truncated features, Casio represents the best mix for beginners who are sure they want to work at it and people like myself who have some experience and want to pick it up again. The two viable entry level models are the Casio CPD-S160 and the model being reviewed here, the Casio Previa PX-1100. If you can stretch it, get the Previa. It will just serve you over a longer arc and it is a capable of running on battery power also.
If you need to scrimp and piano function is your primary thing, there are decent keyboards in the $300-plus range, with stand and sometimes three pedals, which function as pianos only. If you get one of these, you will be able to practice and learn, but you will have to replace your digital piano sooner as you become more advanced.
For the sake of full disclosure, I haven't touched or even seen any digital keyboard. But I can research and I do pay attention. I am playing on funny money, so to speak, so I think will go large and get the Previa. It definitely outclasses the CDP-S160 and doesn't cost a lot more.
Other units in the $400-$750 price range are viable also. The Yamaha P-125 seems pretty good but does not allow the use of a three pedal unit. It might have slightly better sound than the Casios. The Korg B2SP impressed me also in terms of its ability to emulate an acoustic piano, but it might be more limited in its features. Shop around and save. Amazon is a source. But so is Ebay and so is Walmart for that matter. The same sellers often are on all three of these outlets, and you can return items bought through the Walmart website at the store. That's a big plus.
I'm thinking of buying a piano, but I don't know which one is better, the yamaha p125, or this one, does anyone know?
Why can’t they allow turning off DSP. Forcing the high quality samples through DSP produces different between live playing and recording playback
Do you have the notes you played on this? 1:09 I loved that❤ I wanna play that song on mine❤
Wonder what the difference will be in the new ps-x3100
do you find the issue of black keys being lighter than white keys?
Does it actually come with the printed sheet music though? i saw an unboxing video where it showed it only came with the user manual.
that christian song on the 60's setting, oh sweet lawdy 🥰🤤👏🏼
Can you make a review on the yamaha psr e203
What’s the song at 6:25? Very pretty and soothing
Is Casio will produce new line up for CT-X series sir.?
Which one is better the Casio PX-S1100 or Alesis Prestige Artist?
Do you know when the pxs 3100 will be release?
Just curious if anybody knows if it has a drum beat or a selection of drum beats, or is it just a metronome only ?
Thanks
Eleven-hundred seems the most straightforward to me
Nice demo! I love Casio keyboards. They've made a lot of progress in recent years and they don't rip off people like mainstream brands do.
Can you layer sounds like piano + strings?
Hello. Why is my psr ew 410 yamaha piano's all key are changed to chords .when i use Style music and ACMP on\off .can you tell me the solution ?
Wow 🥺
This is so beautiful
HOW CAN YOU BE EVERYWHERE
You're a stalker

Looking for new key board and your review demented my choice you rock man
I'm here first for Jeremy!
i prefer elevenHundred.. yiieee.. best regardz..
im looking forward of buying this model. :D
Beautiful playing in the beginning Jeremy See. Is that original composition by you, or did you get it at some song?
It's from a Studio Ghibli soundtrack, Howls Moving Castle if I'm not mistaken.
Late at night watching Brazil Olympic volleyball and Jeremy at the same time.
Nice playing Jeremy! Piano sounds a lil better than my CDP230R, but the harpsichord at the end a lil thinner than my Ensoniq KS-32’s coupled harpsichord...🤔 🎶
me encantaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Ya lo compre y está hermoooso
Great review, Jeremy! How do you compare this “eleven hundred” to the DGX670? Also, do you know how to create chord progression loops at the DGX670?
I'll do a comparison when I have time. 🙂
@@JeremySee thanks!!!
The DGX-670 has a more modern and open sound. It sounds better than the Casio, by the way.
Super question!
As a classically trained pianist who played many different grands and uprights, this hammer action mechanism by Casio is one of the best for me. I don't really like the FATAR system.
What do you think of Korg Liano? I am considering one of these two pianos
I was going to buy the Px-S1100 cause I really like how it sounds and how it looks, but I'm having second thoughts cause of the videos and comments about its allegedly "flawed" action. I am an absolute beginner and I'm not willing to become a professional classical piano player. Do you think I should then go on and buy the PX-S1100, or should I go for the Roland FP-10, although it has a heavy action, quite not suitable for an absolute beginner like myself? Note that unfortunately, I can't try any of those two pianos where I live, so I have to rely solely on reviews and comments. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Me too
Hello, idk if you have made your decision but I have tried both the Roland FP-10 and the PX-S1100. In my opinion, if you have the budget for it then go with Casio. Both sounds not that much far from each other but Casio wins with better technology/functions. Aesthetically, Casio wins for me also, the design is really pleasing which makes me want to play/practice the piano more. If you dont have the budget then the FP-10 is best choice there is for both sound and aesthetic, also simple to use. Hope this helps!
I bought my Casio and everything is amazing so if you have enough money go with Casio you won’t regret it
The price of CASIO PX-770 is almost the same as PX-S1100. Which one should one consider?
Is it possible to use a celeste voice on it?😊
Love intro song.
Hi Jeremy, I’m calling from Vietnam. Do you have any idea what price the Casio PX-S 1100 will be in Singapore? Shipping from Amazon is out of the question here but a quick day trip to Singapore to pick one up is OK.
Kind regards,
John
casiomusic.sg/collections/digital-piano/products/px-s1100
Hi!
If price and “portability” wasn’t an issue, which one would you go for? PX-770 or PX-S1100 ? For a beginner. Looking for the best option in terms of quality. A piano I won’t have to sell too soon (i.e: as a progress) THANKS!
go with the pxs1100, you wont regret it
I'm suprised that the piano sounds really good! It's not like the other casino's that sound like toy pianos.
I'd be surprised if it is using any other piano samples other than the one used on the PX-S1000 and PX-S3000.
P X S One One hundred prefered.
