Agricultural technology keeps getting more and more precise and based on variation in the field. This is why there is now such a high emphasis on the quality of soil data (which is part of our mission).
Interesting, on the good ol' ferm
We need to also know who is controling and owning these data and to which extent this leads to an even higher concentration in the food supply chain. Multinationals profit mainly from the trend and I dont belief that every single farmer will have higher income with this technologies.
"After a hard Hi-Tech days work " .....
What about all the old skills that I (partially) learned from my grandpa? They're going to be much needed when the petroleum becomes too expensive for this type of operation.
electric tractors
Yea, who owns many people needs, goverment owns it, and when you want to take the farmer down, just put a wrong gps rutes, and manipulated the data.. Game over !
If a government can do something like that with no one protesting, then you already have a really bad problem and this is only a symptom.
Gold posies movement.
cooked up barbateum.
modi has set out a plan for spreading these practices all over India already, and it will be put into practice within 2-3 years.
What Happens When Farming Goes High-Tech?,more unemployed people
Yeah kinda like the 90% of farmers who are now 'unemployed' since tractors were invented. That turned out horrible.
/sarcasm

+tecxner Technology exists to make our lives easier... and for naysayers like you to oppose technology by writing comments against it.
