I have one LYXBAG bag I got in 2019, it's the LV white catogram speedy. It's counter quality and it has a nice honey patina now, so the leather is real. I think whatever makes you happy go for it. I've seen LV with plastic leather and blood red glaze...
This is just coming from my experience as a leather bag maker, but I believed they did that to encourage people *not* to use it crossbody. Celine would definitely have received back lash of some sort for not including a strap, as that is a must/standard practice for all handbags -- especially luxury ones. I believe this bag is best (designed in mind) to be carried mainly top handle, as carrying it cross body would actually warp the back over time. Had they placed shoulder strap D rings on the sides, it would have been better suited cross body, as the pressure isn't focused on the top area. Again, the only reason a strap is included was for the occasional option to switch to a crossbody, say, when you are paying the cashier. I think wearing it mostly crossbody would have put a dent on the leather, as it has hooks on the top handle rather than sides I hope this helps, coming from a designer perspective!
i think i want this in the small size. I loved it in the all over tan color. Also the largest size was pretty cool. for mini sizes i think i like the look of the peekabo a bit more. a 1 year update would be good.

Yes the color of the LYXBAG is beautiful and it is a great decision, maybe one day they will add feet and straps. It would be nice to have a bigger bag during the colder months when we have to store gloves, beanies, scarves, etc…

I just got the black one. It is a BEAUTIFUL bag. Not heavy at all, even with essentials (which for me are phone, travel perfume, lipstick, BB pact, note pad, fountain pen, pixel buds).
I tried this in store. I’m a petite woman and I feel it looks ridiculous on me. I so wanted it to work. The triomphe crossbody looked much better on me but I prefer a non-logo bag.
you mentioned my only con for ANY celine bag, the damn hardware... like, i am so surprised that hedi still has not, in 5 years, added more than like a couple bags in silver hardware????? especially when it comes to this one, everything about it is perfect but my god i just haaaaaaaate gold :( it just does not work with my skintone so... yeah
Ooooo ok honestly… if between both, the nano luggage for sure. I LOVED my nano luggage it holds so much and it’s such a classic Celine style. My nano luggage is one of my most used bags in my entire collection. And they have so many nice colors!!
I think the small would still look so good on you. The strap of the small is slightly longer than the mini though so it depends where you prefer bags to fall on you! Keep me posted!

The zipper has a slit that fits over the little hook, and you can lock the zipper compartment that way. It’s not particularly useful!

I don’t think it would scratch the bag at all, the lock itself is rounded not like the LV locks and it’s very smooth!!
