I wish haters would just move on instead of vomiting their hateful acid onto others. Personally, I am thankful for the wonderful people like you that I get to watch create art. I am lucky to have you Ceri.
When you allow us to see you make a mistake, correct a mistake or find a way to deal with it, you are empowering us, your subs, to be open to the adventures of crafting, trying something new or pushing ourselves beyond our own little boxes. Bottom line, if someone doesn’t like or disagrees with anything, they should just depart and stop watching!! It has NOTHING to do with you and everything to do with their personal lives and dissatisfactions. Let it go and ignore it!! Social media is brutal, so it’s critical to focus on the positive feedback because YOU inspire so many seasoned artists as well as beginners!👏👍❤️

Hi Ceri. Pandemic aside, there are still people out here who only get to socialize through social media. I have have a ton of family that keeps me busy but not a single person who "gets" my need for crafting/artistic outlets. Then I discovered You Tube and found my people. 😁 I feel like some are very good friends. And I will never meet them in person but they are my friend...like you and Gayle I consider friends. So of course i care if you are struggling...need time off line to have a life, need to make fewer videos etc. A happy relaxed Ceri is essential for you and your viewers. I subscribed to your channel because im interested in Junk Journals but watch everything you do (Gel (sp?) printing, making your masks, boxes etc because you are my friend and teach me something with every video. As for the haters, block them. We have no space here for negativity. Love following your journey Ceri. You have led an extraordinary life and are a multi talented person. I, personally, only have one expectation of you and that's simply for you to be you. Lighting issues happen, incorrect words happen, background noises happen, etc. Those things aren't important me. You and your personality are what's important to me.
Honestly, I cannot understand hateful comments. So many people feel compelled to be ugly. It’s difficult to not allow yourself to feel horrible, but we must move ahead. I’ve been in the entertainment business for 50 years and so understand. We can receive hundreds of great comments but that ONE nasty comment hurts for a long time.
"Who's the fool here?!" Said in Ceri style. Loved it! But...I hate it when a maker asks watchers to say what they think then get upset when they get a negative comment.
And that is the reason I didn't go far in youtube. Thanks for your ideas/explanation. I enjoy your channel. I find you stress free, lol.

This was a great chat today. It really resonated with me. I know of 3 amazingly talented ladies who have been bullied off yt over the years and it makes me sad. Ceri, you have no idea how this was just what I needed at this time. Thank you so much! I do love you and will continue to watch. I have a very tiny channel. I do not expect to ever be a popular channel. I do my channel because my son wanted to start videoing some things I do. I enjoy doing things with my son. So if I have to be a CZcamsr in order to spend time with my son, I'll do it. I get my feelings hurt easily. So, the agreement with my son is that he handles the comments. I just accidentally saw one before he got to it. Sorry for such a long story. More than you needed to know. Just Thank You!

Ceri, I want to thank you for your frankness. One of the things that I have always appreciated the most about your very enjoyable channel is how RELAXING it is to be allowed to learn from the way in which you handle your "mistakes." Sometimes, I think that it's best to simply admit that mistakes can occur for everybody, bar none, and to develop one's creativity along with them - or maybe even because of them. Every important lesson learned is valuable.
And I do not expect any CZcamsr to become perfect. In fact, the flashier a YT channel tends to get, the less relaxing it tends to get for me. I'm not looking for perfection; I'm looking for ways to connect to the larger world from home, as my health is impaired by MS.

Brilliant conversation Ceri, my father always taught me, if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything, and I always thought that was good advice, kindness is free and it can make someone's day. I love how you are just you, that's what makes you so enjoyable to watch, you feel like a friend when since the pandemic, there's very few left unfortunately. It's also nice to hear someone who struggles with anxiety too, it nice to know I'm not the only one, which I knew, but still. Thanks again Ceri for a great conversation.

You are a.kind person, naturally you don't get much hate mail. I just love watching your videos. Sometimes while I am doing dishes, but then sometimes I stop what I am doing. I shoot landscapes and to hear how bad my images are for a second rate portrait\wedding photographer has keep me from having a channel on CZcams forever. Thick skin can be hard and slow to grow. Exactly, if someone doesn't like the video or content or things like sewing machine or plastic crinkling, move on, no need to comment or mute the sound until the sound is over. Why make someone taking their time to show you something feel bad about themselves or a sound?? I've seen a wonderful woman, a friend of yours and to many, Gayle Agostinelli almost cry or be so bothered from someone complaining when she tries to please everyone, it's uncalled for.. she's sweet and kind and doesn't deserve to feel bad because someone doesn't like her camera angle.. ❤ love you just the way you are Ceri and everything you do is helpful to someone.. mistakes, corrections and growing as you create is amazing ❤ I find it very helpful to see how mishaps are handled, fixed or learned from.. there are no mistakes only opportunities to be more creative ❤

Great topic and conversation Ceri! I’ve been hearing more and more content creators commenting about the really bad and mean comments. I feel bad for each and every person that gets them. I do read most comments on your video’s and have come across 1 or 2 where you’ve gotten a mean comment and your comments back are perfect and just! I say to myself, Go Ceri, you tell ‘em….and I’m gonna follow you to their page if they have one! lol…….when I come across a video that doesn’t appeal to me for whatever reason, I stop watching and find another. Thanks for your thoughts! One more thing, I love your smile!!
