Actually, the newer batches of the 12 maglev don't have the catching issue anymore, idk how they did it, but it feels so much better now. But I respect your opinion about the leap

I bought mine in 2024 which should be the new batch. It still had a really bad catching issue. But so did get resolved over me doing tons and tons of solves on it. Now it’s perfect and I love it!

I am confused on why so many pro cubers like tymon, yiheng, and matty use the maglev 12 while most content creators say the leap.
Leap is better
it might have to be cuz UV coating and sponsor. Plus a lot of content creators don't like faster cubes hence why a lot of them don't like the current Gan cubes, as they follow that fast and flexible path with limited piece stability and instead rely more on magnets giving stability. (This is not the case for Brian, it might just be cuz the catching issues he experienced which is fair).

does the 356 maglev have good corner cutting? I kinda wanna upgrade to that cus its not overpriced and its good, my old x v2 has too much lockups/bad corner cutting or maybe cus i turn too rough.

how close to the ys3m bc is the rs3m uv coated? for me the rs3m uv coated(10.99$) is 4$ cheaper than ys3m bc (non uv, 14.99$), so I wonder which is better value.
also, if you had to choose a cube to use in a comp for like 35$ which one would you pick?
YS3M is the best cube by a mile
Rs3m v5 has terrible corner cutting and while RS3M UV is better than RS3M YS3M is the best
@@BrinaSunI have a ys3m now, sadly the sale on it ended so I got it for 24€ instead of 15, but still happy with it anyways, didn't get uv coated one cuz that's a tad too expensive imo.
With editing this unboxing, it would have definitely lost some of its charm.
