IMPORTANT FOR JARDON: when a villager is in a subchunk, ALL the surrounding subchunks also count ad a village. So you won't get raid omen when you walk into the subchunk, you'll get it when you walk into the conduit power room
Subchunks are vertical subdivisions of chunks. are you sure you don't mean just chunks?
@@PCHSwS yes, I mean subchunks. A raid is initiated when you're in a village subchunk, which could be either the centre subchunk or the 26 that surround it adjacently.

place the dolphin in a bubble column on top of soul sand. this will prevent it from drowning, as well as prevent it from drying out.

One thing tho: your villager is actually too close. There needs to be a full chunk of separation between the main setup and the villager, because as it is right now, you can't get Bad Omen at the main setup, it will immediately turn into Raid Omen. I don't want you to fail 🙏

Kind of want an easter egg where if you have all the different omens applied, they'll condense into a new omen effect, maybe "wrath omen", which will make the nighttime turn into a blood-moon event, quadrupling mob spawns along with random illager mob spawns.
Haha imagine the random ravager spawns XD
Also it should make mobs from all dimensions spawn in any dimension you're in :D

That is excatly why when I did how did we get here I opted to transport a warden instead of a dolphin 😂 It ended up being way easier!
speedrunners also use the method you described, but for Hardcore, it might not be the wisest idea to transport a warden around 😅

Would it make sense to keep a villager near your base? That way if a thunderstorm happens there's a better chance that there will be a villager right there instead of you needing to scramble to find one before it ends.
Been loving this series, really sad that it’s almost over… Going to miss these let’s play series, they always hit me with nostalgia.

i know this is hella late and completely irrelevant since the series ended, but for your information, shulkers don't despawn! Otherwise, end cities would be really empty 😅
I just wanted to remind you, cap, there’s really only one way this series can end. Even if you get all existing advancements without dying, which I’m confident you’ll do, Mojang keeps adding more each update. In less than a year, you’ll have to get Monsters Hunted and 2 by 2 again, as well as load new chunks to do brand new things, and there’s only one way out of this cycle.
I'm pretty sure once he gets all advancements at a given point, that'll just be the end. Doubt it gets revived for future updates
@@caged3249 I can see that, but that would honestly just be him blocking off the last Minecraft content he can make on this channel. I mean, he said his goal was “compete every challenge Minecraft has to offer, or die trying.” Not doing later advancements is him saying no to such challenges. I can see cap doing that, but it’s not the way to go with this.

Placing buttons on each ice and filling the gaps with slabs will fully prevent mob spawns on that road, it may be costly but its better than your trip getting interrupted
You could have just put the torches on the ice, since they have no hitbox :D

Hey i am a long time fan, I bought your adventure map on bedrock and it’s really cool, but I have a problem playing it. There is a graphic bug where there is a black and pink block in middle in the screen that just doesn’t go away:(
I think that might be a problem with Bedrock as opposed to the map. I've had the same problem with a few different mods/behaviour packs and I can't figure out what's causing it. Which version of Bedrock are you using?
