Licensed esthetician here, I definitely recommend oil only after other skincare. Oil will act as an occlusive barrier and can prevent other skincare from penetrating the skin. Overall this skincare routine is amazing and your skin is absolutely gorgeous ❤️
i have combination skin. can you recommend some oils that won’t clog my pores?
@@yavahado hi not an aesthetician but an oily combo acne prone girl like yourself 🙂 the only oil I have seen advertised for acne prone skin is the UFO oil by sunday Riley. It has salicylic acid in it but it’s an oil so it’s still hydrating at the same time. In theory and for many people this was a game changer but for me personally it still broke me out. If you have acne prone oily skin you should stay away from oils! Just use oil free moisturizer (I use cerave)

@@adrianeelise3849 the only oil based products I have worked with are dermalogica precleanse and the Gran active retinol oil by the ordinary. I always recommend having an esthetician personally examine your skin to learn the best treatments for you because aside from skin type (oily, dry, combination, and normal) skin can act up for many other reasons such as compromised barrier, dehydration, sun damage, etc. So determining the best skincare routine for each individual often requires an in person skin analysis.

I was legit watching this as I did my nighttime skincare routine. I finished it and had JUST done the vaseline and like a second later you brought it up. Ever since I found out about the vaseline locking in the moisture I can see and feel SUCH a difference! Love this video girl!

Thank you for sharing your skin care routine. By the way, you might want to consider the peptide before the hyaluronic because the molecule size if hyaluronic is bigger so it would hinder absorption.

Yes! Hyaluronic acid can bind up to 1000 times its weight in water but it doesn’t usually do that. However it’s still a nice hydrator and I enjoy using it in the right type of products. Not all of them are efficacious

@@juhnetmickerdy I have tried hada labo before! Do you use the original version of that toner in the white bottle or the premium version in the gold-ish bottle? I did like how the neutrogena hydro boost moisturizer felt lightweight but sometimes it didn’t feel like enough for the perimeters of my face (my t-zone is oily while the perimeters can get more dry at times). And it’s also kinda expensive for how quickly it runs out
What do you think of Vichy’s Mineral 89 Hyaluronic Acid serum?
@@sams517 I find that a little goes a long way with Neutrogena and I have dry skin. In the winter I boost it with a few drops of sugarcane squalane oil! I do this with all my moisturizers. I love the original and premium of hada labo but original is my fave!
The Vichy one is nice but I don’t see the difference on my skin between that and Neutrogena and it goes empty a lot faster.
Inkey list has a great one as well!
@@juhnetmickerdy oh yeah I like how squalane oil is a more lightweight oil too. Do you put on the neutrogena moisturizer first and then go in with a layer of squalane oil on top?

im on tretinoin 0.025% and cerave foaming cleanser and cerave moisturizing cream and in the morning same but no tretinoin and use a sunscreen all over face. my face is already glowing and im 2 days in tretinonin lol

At first I was worried I couldn’t use alpha hydroxy acids but after a few months for me anyway…. I am able to do both on the same night cuz my skins is also NOT sensitive
