yep horse power alone does not do the trick, it helps but what you need is grip, proper suspension and alignment setting, slicks, lightweight, down force and skills.... power comes on top as a goody. Still a great performance of the Lotus

@@raimmartin2804 the way that m3 pulled away after the lotus caught up in traffic, regardless of the weight difference of the vehicles, the m3 had some serious power/tq.

@@robertkirk4387 Exactly right. Check out "Nordschleife BTG 07:58.07 with obstacles", a GT3 got in the way of a Miata... for minutes! It's epic.
lol you'd be surprised, a lot of GT3's at the track with scared drivers behind the wheel. They tip toe through the corners then just drive fast down the straights.

The more I watch what Lotus cars can do the more impressed I am. Not the build quality of the 911 but damn they’re fast.

The modern ones are pretty well built. You just don't get a fancy interior because it's supposed to be light. The composite materials and aluminium etc is all top quality stuff. Toyota engines and gearboxes too so they don't go wrong.

Thx Mate...that was the first Rollout with some new Parts and i was not pushing as much as i can. I thought that the 911 is warming up his Tires. After some Corners it was clear that both are not fast. Actuall the Car has a much better Aero and some new Dampers with new Geo Settings and more than 45PS more. But a Exige is not a Nordschleifen Car, it`s a Weapon on GP Courses.
That has to be one of the best drivers cars of today.

Fantastic drive in your Lotus Exige. You are a great driver. Only improvement would be smoother steering but it is pretty hard when the car is jumping around Good work mate. Cheers, Jim.
Thank you so much... The Car is not perfect for the Ring. The actual Spec is much better with new Aero Parts especially the big rear Wing. Alitech Shifter and wider Tires. But Nordschleife is no lotus land 👊 Thx for watching mate

for a Elise i would prefer - 1,7 in Front ;-) with wider Tires - 205 ...take a look at the new Nankang AR1

How much time can you run this vehicle, before the need to refuel ? Any overheating issues?
with the normal Spec Fueltank 4 Laps...with the Upgrade from KT i think it`s possible to do 6-7 Laps. Overheating is no Problem...it`s chargecooled and works really fine.

Yes it was FAST ! A lovely Car but a fully Race Spec Car with Slicks...the Lotus is Road legal ;-)

it was the first Time to Test the Car with that Specs on this Track. It was a pity that i was not pushing enough behind the 991 GT3...i thought that he warm up his Tires and i don`t want to be an Iditot to overtake him and after that slow him down...but he was not Fast to catch up and so i lost a lot of Time behind him. Next Time i will be more Clever and more aggresive ;-)

@@vineyardfancy9228 Exactly, that is what I thought. I love Lotus and the story and emotional way of driving it brings. I am going after EVORA because I am simply not as ultimate driver for Exige and I do need more GT character in the car. I have Lexus "F" cars and they are also plenty underestimated and underrated for what they can bring in drivers experience area. Keep on driving safe. Good Luck.
Try an Elise as well. They are less hardcore than the Exige, more comfortable to use on the road, but still quick and they are the most agile of the 3.
I would position the wiper blade in a vertical position, besides that TOP Exige! I own a Elise 111S.

Danke...beste des Tages war eine 7.41min. Ich muß einfach mehr Schleife fahren...fahren...fahren ;-) Das ist einfach mein S6 was da via Aluhalter in der Schale liegt. Hält ganz gut. Aber der AIM ist einfach besser und bietet eine bessere Auswertung. Ich hab nur den Halter zu Hause liegen lassen.
muss mir das demnächst mal anschauen .. WENN wir uns in diesem leben nochmal am ring treffen sollten ;) hehe .. 7:41 ganze runde .. du sack :D

The platform's problem is the tire. The car's on track potential is limited by the width of the tire.
