Antique stores or malls are my favorite places to shop, but they are pricey! Most antiques are, but if you look hard enough you can always find some deals! I guess it depends what you're looking for, how old it is, who its made by & how much you're willing to spend on the item 🤷♀️ Like I'm not goona pay $20 for something i know i can find for half that or less right?! The brass pot is nice, great price. I have that little creamer with the blue on it & a pair of candle holders that match it. I'd love to find the sugar dish to match it! I have some of my silver spoons in mine. The crystal candlestick is gorgeous.. you really need to google lens that piece, looks like it might be a nice piece! If definitely google Lens the wood piece with the cabin on it too! I had a wood piece with a picture on it, i knew it was old, but i google lens'd it and found out it was from early 1900's and worth a little bit!🤯 I've got quite a bit of things, especially art, that I've found to be worth a little bit from using my google lens. I ck every piece i buy or anything I'm thinking about buying😄lol You may be surprised! 56:27 Those of us that collect old antiques and primitive pieces buy the wood pieces, they're called 'spindles' and put them in baskets or wood boxes and things just for decor. You found some pretty little frame! I like missing them.. gold, wood, silver or pewter, brass, ceramic.. all the different kinds!😊 Love the copper watering can! Tree rider is so sweet, the cute little legs, as well as the wall hook! You can hang a wisk broom, a straw hat or a scarf from the cast iron wash hook.. or a small bunch of dried flowers like baby breath, just tied together with ribbon & hang it upside down. Not quite sure about the Brass pieces with the holes in them.. google lens & you'll find out what they are! Lol if like to know myself.. interesting🤔 Great pictures in the book for your little frames! One of my Fav hacks!!😁 i have a nice stack of books i use for the pictures to frame! You totally had an awesome haul! Thanks for sharing😊
Exactly, I’m starting to learn what things are worth and what to pay for them. And when to hold out on things. It takes time and patience to find some gems. I love the creamer with blue on it. Pfalzgraph is becoming some of my favorite items to find these days. Yes, I use google lens a lot and haven’t on that but I will on the crystal candlestick. That’s funny because I just used today for items I put on my thrift boutique on Instagram. Oh yeah I’ll do that too with the wood piece with the cabin. Oh that’s nice that you found a piece like that from the 1900’s and worth something. I should do a video on that and what’s it worth. That would be fun! Oh ok so that wood piece is a wooden spindle. Well I’m glad it founds it ways home with me. I love it now and use it as a holder to keep a book open. I love your ideas for the wash hook sign. I will definitely incorporate those ideas. Yeah I want to know what those brass things with holes are. I’m going to google earth it tomorrow. Yeah I can’t wait to cut out those pictures in the book and put them in those frames.
