The fire pal keeping you warm is not a hidden change. That has ALWAYS been in the game from the beginning
yeah but a fire pal wasn't a problem in a hot area, now it is. That's what I understood, couldn't try it myself yet
Previously nothing stacked, the higher tier warm/cold took effect, so they warmed im cold, but did nothing im warm. Now they have an effect in warm areas
Now you can get too hot if your riding a fire pal in a hot area, that was NOT in the game before

I literally died because I was riding around on Ragnahawk near the Volcano. We weren't even that high up. I was in the area where the Bushis spawn just passed the fisherman's warf. That didn't happen before the latest patch. Also I still fell through the ground.
Memory leaking was a massive issue for dedicated servers. Npcs would not despawn, parts of the map would remain loaded in, even after traveling absurd distances, eventually requiring a server restart every few hours. They fixed it to finally offload this. Sweet relief to my mega dedicated server. Currently got 15 active players on my 24/7 server.
tell me, did you find a way to enable PVP truely?
i did it and it worked but the pals do not want to defend the base from an attacking player no matter what, they just flee and let themselves get murdered...
the pvp works, damage from player vs. enemy player, structures and pals work fine... the pals will atack fine in combat... but the base pals not....

i was running a server on nitrado up until today but decided to not renew until pvp is working...
You didn't mention that the priority change messed up chickens and vixy on your farms, as they will try to harvest crops instead of ranching if they detect harvestable crops.
what if you do fixed assignment?
They were doing it already on my world in previous update. Had to assign them manually to the farm

Manually setting them doesn't make one difference, because i do that every time i go to my base. Pick up the beegarde and vixy and make them stop spending an hour harvesting crops and throw them back into the ranch instead. @@dromaludaire

I want the boss moves more than I want the bosses. They should just make it so you can get a chance at a special fruit from the bosses that can only be used on the same Pals as the boss, such as Shadowbeak and Victor having a chance to drop Shadowbeak's special move.
The main reason I was boss catching was so I could get his move over to my Shadowbeak by breeding it with a non-boss shadowbeak, then breeding that Shadowbeak with a Jormuntide to get the move over to Helzypher, then breeding that Helzypher with Frostallion to get a Frostallion noct with the Tower bosses move.

letting players getting an op pal with extra human within 5 to 10 needed to be fixed. I do hope that they bring a way to get the bosses, maybe a boss lickma ball?

Alpha or shiny pals should count for 2 in the condenser
I would even say 10 for Shiny.
Ive had more fun playing this this game than I’ve had in a long time
So I am not sure anyone else knows about this, but if you get a wanted x1 or more to get away just go straight up on your flying mount keep going as high as you can and you get reset to your closest base. Wanted alerts are gone, and you are all fresh at your base. Pretty nice.

one secret change that you haven't mentioned that i noticed is that wild pal are now way more aggressive. while some where always aggressive to some extent they tended to lower significantly when you got higher level but now i noticed a significant increase of wild pal picking a fight with me. before the update in the higher level dungeon less than 10% of maraith and ice reptyro picked fight with me unprovoked but now it feels like 80%+ turn hostile the second they see me.
Everything is super aggro now. Was farming stuff in the desert on a new account and had a herd of tocotoco bomb rush me lol. Terrifying when you don't have galeclaw with you yet
Stuff was publicized. The Anubis change was mentioned, the patch notes are pretty extensive. The translations are sometimes iffy but it does state that manual labor will be prioritize. Manual Labor should be read as crafting, as Anubis had a tendency to zip straight for the mining pit. The changes are not secret you just have to read the patch notes.

the patch notes don't mention anything a out changes to mining priorities only that it will prioritize manual labour over mining, not the changes made to what is mined first. It don't mention they changed it so it mines resources over stone pits. That is not in the patch notes. Only changes to actual pals mining mentioned is related to digtoise. I'm not wrong, you just have to read the patch notes.

They should only allow the boss capture bug after you defeated them. I don't know what they changed about the keyboard mapping, i still can't assign alt to use.
Better is to make it on/off in the world settings
That egg bug sounds like a great way to get the emperor traits early.
I was breeding Lyleens and noticed she always had Spirit Emperor. Even though I had some from previous patch that didn't. So That explains that. On the other hand if you are breeding a combat pal it's a great time to snag those emporer traits like you said.

One thing i've noticed is, now there is a bug that happens sometimes when you go into a dungeon, you go to the final room, you defeat / capture the boss and the barrier that prevents you from going to the two chest room, does not disappear. This means you can continuously defeat / capture the final boss, go back to a previous room, get a new boss, and defeat / capture it again and again.
Last dungeon i did i ended up capturing over 10 bosses. It's good for exp, but also to get some good IV pals since theres a higher chance of them having higher IV stats than the regular pals.
If you get sick of it and want the tech manuals from the chests mount a big rideable pal repeatedly in a cramped corner of the dungeon and you can clip out of bounds and get your loot
Similarly, if you need to get through the barrier, i was managing by releasing a mount pal *through* the barrier, and then trying to mount it, and you'll get pulled through to the other side.
eggs are predetermined, so saving them for next patch won't help. There is an egg dupe, but it always gives the exact same result on the duplicate eggs, hence predetermined.
yep, wild eggs are not pre determined tho... at least in 1.4.1 they where not... duplicating wild eggs used to give you the same pal but with different passives and IVs... even tho it seemed like they where not totally different... they would often have minor and golden versions of the same passive in different duplicates and not totally different IVs...seem like the game actually randomly generated the eggs from randomly generated parents and not just random pals in wild eggs. i duplicaterd many wild eggs and bred eggs in 1.4.1... the wild eggs where always differen passives and IV's, the bred eggs always the exact duplicate.
Cakes don't decay in the breeding farm box so you can stack them if breeding is ever broken in the future and save them for after the patch. That way youre set and all the farmed eggs and milk dont go to waste
The unnecessary data, one of the issues I noticed while using a pal editor is that the save data kept track of pals that you butchered or sold making your list of owned pals much greater than was shown. I can assume that with farming of pals breeding or selling that at some point it's going to hit a cap just like it did for your guilds pal number.
I haven't looked at the editor for a while now since I started a more legit run through but that's one example that I could see have been fixed.
How I tested that was renaming pals butchered and sold before I did the test and they were still on the pal editing list. I didn't even have a butcher knife before the test, f'd part was the pal that was being butchered made the knife.

Woohoo!! Love these changes! The toggle for "F" interaction when crafting at a station or building stations was one of my suggestions on their discord! So happy that they implemented that! ^_^

Been testing on my own after watching this vid on the breeding thing. I haven't seen any problems with breeding on my end. Been breeding religiously for base pals for about a week now. Did a test run on some Anubis from start to finish to get specific traits and got them all in about the same amount of time (a few hours with mods) as I did before the patch.
I mean kitsun just became more valuable as a mount at the volcano due to its immunity to heat and cold
But it's so slow.
End game temperature is not an issue anymore with high tier cold and warm Shirts.
Yeah just farm enough caves and you end up immune to all sources of temp but still I wish the Kitsun was faster.
Its such an epic looking mount and it does make you immune to everything rather early. However its too slow :(
I wish there was a flying mount that gave heat/cold res. Would 100% be in my party. The utility is awesome. Kitsun is great if you get caught in the astral mountains at night and don't want to instantly die. Solid attack stat too
So can you still use pals that’s any level in the condenser or it does it have to be different? I’m still lil confused on that
So is the egg issue only with pals which are all the same i.e Anubis parents to make Anubis child? Because this morning I made a shadowbeak with an astegon that had lord of the underworld which I also bred from necromus, also had legend musclehead
One bug i get constantly after the update is refrigerator assigment. Any time i log into my world my cold pals are doing whatever they want to (usually nothing). This happens mostly for a base where "work area" is on second floor. They don't seems to be able to get how stairs works.
the environmental influence also goes for ice pals, my friend had captured his first pengulett and got it out during the night... And suddenly he was being cold, losing hitpoints, even THO he had clothing with cold-resi 1!

You dont have to interact again while working if you toggle that switch (at least on xbox), it should give the option to work again to cancel the action (icon color box changes, small hard to see), but still shows cancel, which you have to stop working in order to actually use.

Addition (possibly) to the breeding bug: Im early in the game and have 2 breeding farms at this point. Now that you mentioned it the eggs gotten from one of them work perfectly - as in I get what I can expect, while the other has become completely useless. The one that works as intended is much newer - I dont remember if I built it after the release of the patch but I suspect so.
5:56 They still phase through walls though. So if you build a protection wall to keep baddies out your pals will still magically go through the wall trying to get to a tree or something and get stuck on the outside of your base and starve.
I have a problem if anyone can help me or tell me if this is happening to them after the patch
I have an Anubis that has work slave, serious, artisan, lucky which is +115% work speed. And I'm only seeing his work speech say 105 before the patch he would be at 150. I don't know if this is impacting the work speed at all just noticed that the numbers aren't right or they must have turned the workspeed values down. Did I miss that in the patch notes? 😅
And it's not just for my Anubis it's like that for all pals. All the work speed values are lower
Maybe in the full game we only get to fight the bosses once, afterwards its rng bosses with different pals, so perhaps catching them is a precursor to secret pals being added

Are you sure the hanging trap + fire still works? I tried it last week and had to manually kill them
My knollage of selftesting is .... that only the pal with wild-catch-passive skills (Like Anubis and Jormuntide) woll have this fixed stiff ..... other pal like Verdash, that don't have something like that will still breed like before
there are some other pals with fixed passives like goriat and digtoise

Just the other day I was thinking about how nice it'd be to let my pals relax more often. The day after they make it a thing, I'm so happy.
Any news when will they patch the breeding system? It´s hard to get stronger pals without breeding. I´m trying to get a stronger fire damage pal to face Frostallion but the regular pals i have basically die after a couple of hits
im thinking the items in the save one im guessing its due to possible memory leaks or how some things remain "loaded" but shouldnt and it save bloats the save and all that. im guessing they fixed that.
Accumulation of Save Data means they fixed the memory leak probably if theres less lag and crashes thats the cause havent played yet so not sure but thats what it sounds like.

I've noticed that treasure chests in dungeons don't give me any loot after this patch. I can only get loot from overworld chests. It opens, plays the animations but i receive nothing. Then the chest disappears. Very annoying!
Opening the map by either clicking the button or selecting fast travel from pal box or fast travel point now freezes the game for a second or 2.
I’m playing via a windows wrapper on a Mac, but this map lag was not happening a couple of days ago.
Anyone else experiencing by this delay on any platform?

On the unnecessary data front: My server before this patch was using 15gb and would sometimes even exceed that and crash the laptop I was using as a dedicated server. Post patch, I'm seeing 7gb usage at most. Another change was that player profiles would stay open and continue to have data saved into them even after players logged out prior to this patch. After this patch, files are saved and left alone for the logged out players.
If you were running a dedicated server, once the data reached a certain limit, the server would go into a death spiral of restarting, making the server unplayable. So the community server I have been playing on capped out and we were unable to play it, because arbitrary data was being recorded that pushed it over its threshold of storage.
1:51 the only thing I can think of is on Xbox. If you’ve been playing for too long, you’ll get popped up with an error, saying game could not save. Which did literally nothing as I was still able to save my game and play on it
I think the AFK kicker doesn't always work right. I had been on new public server for around an hour, then got kicked while I as in the middle of fighting and couldn't get back in because it was full.
7:26 no wonder I died when trying to visit the 3rd sanctuary... I have Faleris as my flyer and flew at night. When morning came, I was burning, and didn't bring enough thermal undershirts and just reached the Eagle teleport point just to die.
I think I should have just unsummoned my pal, but this was a surprise change for me as I didn't understand the patch notes in full until you suffer the consequences for it.
I also didn't understand why I was dying of heat while making several campfires outside my defensive walls at night in an ordinary area. I guess I might have had my Ragnahawk out after defeating a raid, also.😅
The condensation not being worth it above level 1 was actually a bug.
Now you get the number of pals you put into the condenser when using higher star level pals

That passive skill change is really good for pals like the legendaries and emperors. But now cattiva and others with naturally negative passives will always have them

I've been cranking out Lyleen eggs for the last day or two, trying to achieve the best planting/gathering stats. Out of nowhere after this patch, about 20 in a row I've been getting Grass Emporer attack passive on my Lyleens. I might keep a couple for breeding stock, but it's good to know I need to stop hatching them for a bit.
Try again with some eggs. It should have been fixed with the new patch.

Good thing I already got the two bosses captured that I like also when it comes to the traits on xbox I'm still getting positive traits from having the better traits
I went to a sanctuary yesterday and I did not get wanted just a warning about criminal activity , maybe because it was night and everything was sleeping. I only gathered some Beautiful Flowers and like I said did not get a wanted tag.
They fixed the breeding so no worries about the eggs. They also fixed the vaules for higher tier pets in the condenser apparently that wasnt intended either.
You mentioned we have saved progress from different points in our game. I recently had a modder come in to my world & delete my entire base and every pal & structure in it. Maybe I can load up one of those older saved games and I still have my base? Also if you want to remove a players guild in your world you could just load up a previous file from B4 they built it I would hope.
Can confirm the single shot sphere launcher now sends the sphere much further and straighter than throwing it. Definitely worth it now.
Has the bug that removes all base data after 32 days on dedicated servers been fixed yet? Still skeptical to start palworld up again after loosing all bases. So much wasted time. All inventory disappeared along with the base too.
The new gold farm.item to mass build is regular cloth. 5 gold per. Only need 2 wool needed per cloth and is free to farm from ranch quickly. And can build cloth really quick.
To be fair helping with large stack crafts is something ment with pals to do not player alone (aka Anubis) glad I breeder most of my perfect pals before patch than xD
These breeding issues comes at the worst time was 1 trait from making my perfect trait speedster Faleris I got the pal speed skills but I was going to toss on the player speed boost for good measure.
I logged in yesterday and every Pal I had in my base was gone. They’re lost forever not in my palbox or anything. Feelings are so hurt

Strange. Ive been breeding some Anubis today and had no issues passing the traits as usual.
When I saw a patch was coming soon I made sure to catch all the bosses over the weekend lol. With being able to catch people, I do think you should be able to catch bosses, but it obviously should be extremely hard. They should literally have to be at 1 hp with a 1-5% capture rate using the best orb.

i watched a guy's livestream doing bug testing on these issues, Mossanda can still get you out of bounds.
Now when I use my flame pals in my base in warm zone. I get over heated and can't use any fire pals in base at all after update. And I can't go but my cooking pot I get over heated too. This update has wrecked my base in warm zone total bs
I noticed chillet gives a slight coldness when ridden so I think its not just the fire pals

2:53 thats because you were crafting a club which isn't a stackable item.
had you crafted arrows you probably would have been able to let it run multiple times.
As far as harvesting world resources go - my pals are doing great hitting those mineral nodes, not so much though when it comes to logging. They won't even touch the trees.
Did they finally make the thumb and middle mouse buttons keybindable? I’m desperate to move the dodge key since my fingers are too small and I’m unable to press CTRL and the movement keys at the same time.
my mouse has a zoom wheel (different from the scroll wheel) that i discovered worked as dodge when rolled. it randomly switches my weapon sometimes, which is annoying, but it doesn't really matter because i'm not a melee build and all i really need to do is not die. rolling my zoom wheel is much more intuitive than pressing CTRL, when i want to "roll" out of the way.
@@iamzid I just tried mapping roll to button 5 on my mouse and it actually worked! .. only now I can't descend on flying mounts. I don't know why that doesn't trigger and descend doesn't have it's own binding. UGH this is annoying!
for me right now I am condensing Falaris into a 3 star one so I will keep hatching eggs. The other thing is I dont have the Anubis I want yet so ill stay away from breeding them for the time being.

Does the egg bug coming with "wild pal" passives means there's a chance I can hatch a Jormuntide Ignis with Lucky?
no, it only means that pals who always have a specific passives when caught in the wild (Jormuntide and his water damage passiv for exemple) will always have it when hatched.
so the list goes something like this :
a legendary will always have Legend (even Frostallion Noct)
Type boosted passiv on anubis, jormuntide, lyleen, Blazamut, Orserk, Frostallion, Jetragon, Necromus (and i guess Paladius has the normal type ? haven't caught that guy yet)
AND maybe (I have not tried them and maybe i'm wrong beccause they aren't "Unique" passiv) things like Relaxaurus and his food craving passiv, Cattiva and his bad passiv, and others that i don't know about.
All of these guys, when hatched, will have at least these passiv, as if you caught them in the wild (for the remaining passiv, it's the same way it used to be when breeding, so lucky shouldn't be possible if no parents has it).
