- This beautiful Hampton-style inspired home in Queensland, Australia is absolutely packed full of super clever small space design and storage ideas. At 12 meters in length (39ft) one is big as far a tiny homes go and each and every inch of this tiny house has been ingeniously utilised to create a stunning and functional home.
This is a tiny house that really does have it all. Modern, with design inspiration borrowed from Hampton homes, this tiny house on wheels has all the modern features, including smart home control and even an incinerating toilet.
The heavy duty gooseneck trailer allows for greater weight allowance and a single level design to future proof the home for Colin and Megan who plan to retire in the home. The larger home construction has allowed the couple to downsize from their previous family home, without needing to compromise on their needs.
Colin previously worked as a cabinet maker and his skill is evident throughout the home's construction where he has thoroughly through through each and every inch of the homes design and added some incredibly clever features, especially when it comes to the homes ample storage!

Bryce, first of all I LOVE your show. And secondly, this is one of the most beautiful tiny homes you have shown. I could never see myself living in a tiny house but with this one I might be persuaded. They honestly don’t seem to have given up anything to downsize. They have everything in this house that they want and need. Absolutely gorgeous home! Please keep doing your wonderful shows.
As economies change, people will see that this is an amazing option..and it doesnt have to be a 100sf little box!
I don't believe I can offer a comment regarding this "tiny" house that hasn't already been given by all the others here. This particular home is phenomenal & I love it! The owners are obviously NICE people with enormous taste & talent! Your reactions & interviewing style are, as always, respectful & encouraging. So refreshing that you don't babble on but allow the owners to tell their interesting stories!!! And fantastic photography on this one!

This gentleman is a genius with space planning and cabinet making. They should go into designing homes.

the fact that he designed it like a fifth wheel trailer makes this very good with the extra length.

When you really do think about it, there is so much dead space in most homes, it is amazing the work he has put into the storage options which so easily could be transferred to almost any home. Cheers mate.

Living Big In A Tiny House I believe the biggest benefit of this house is that because it’s large and they implemented such good hidden storage that the open spaces are so nice, you could dance swan lake in that living room! I love it! When I finally move from renting to a tiny house, I ought to have something like this!
Agree we chose to live in a smaller home but the floor space outside our beddroom leading to the dining area etc - basically just a dance floor cant do anything with it.
Many people say « Space is luxury » without thinking further than that (success in life = money = big house)... and many also think « just in case I want this to happen » instead of knowing what they *really* do and like.
Too many people have accepted to do their best just to fit in a mold, to try to reach what was shown as « a successful life » when there are so many ways... and I believe it is *never too late to wake up and accept former mistakes* !
I hope this Covid-19 crisis will have proven this: *the wealthy are not the ones who helped us in this crisis. I hope they will do THEIR SHARE in the future*

my thoughts exactly! if we used these storage ideas in 'normal' homes as well, those could all be downsized as well, saving tons of resources without sacrificing a bit of comfort.
The storage and clean lines in this build are drool-worthy. I've been watching tiny house tour videos for about 4 years and this is definitely one of my favorites of all time.
This house is still my FAVORITE of all of the hundreds I've watched on YT. Any chance they are marketing the floor plan? If not, they should. I particularly love the stand-up bedroom and the closet going up the stairs.
That is major. I would not want to have to climb down a ladder for the bathroom from a loft. The half stairs going down is ok tho.

I would love to get complete plans of this particular home build with love and future plans regarding aging in place concepts incorporated from early on in design stages. Everything about this home is cozy efficiency without crowding out comfort. I might need a bit more lounge space.

These people did it right. I love tiny homes but some of them feel too spartan. And even as a young man I don't want to crawl in and out of bed. Good job to the builders. This is a great example of a healthy compromise between size and comfort.
I agree, i love tiny houses and their concepts, but when looking on pinterest i've always been bothered by those high bedrooms where you have to climb and is all up there beneath the ceiling. And also without doors. I've very sensitive to not having privacy
This is very practical..most of the tiny houses are just a rediculous compromise...these guys have thought about their future and this tiny house is very comfortable....

Definitely, one of the smartest versions of the tiny houses I have ever seen.
I especially appreciate how spacious it is, the height of the bedroom, and all kind of the very clever storages.
Majority of the tiny houses are cute, but they have very small storage space (like if everybody only had 3 t-shirts, 2 pants, 2 trainers, 1 winter parka, a pair of boots, and 3 larger towels) and it suppose crawling into a bedroom; that isn't a great idea in any age.
Imagine the situation one breaks a leg and can only move with two crutches. Every house should be (sort of) built with this idea on mind of the builder. One doesn't need to be permanently disabled, but accidents happens. (I am talking from my own experience). Even a couple of weeks of living like disabled shouldn't invalidate our lives just because our houses are not built with this idea on our minds.
A very livable, functional house without feeling of compromise and lost comfort; obviously well thought out.
It is very beautiful. It might be a bit bigger than what I can eventually do, because of the cost of moving it if I need to, but the luxurious finishes are stunning. I think that's one of the benefits of a tiny home: you can have a beautiful little jewel box to live in, instead of tons of ugly and unnecessary space.

I will buy the book and hope to be able to learn from you, even if I will never build, I would keep as inspiration of how you can achieve perfection on the use of space efficiently.

Not so many houses have a desk space that's ergonomic and isn't just an afterthought. This is one of the few that has it. Plus, all the attention to details in the small storage, especially all the cables. Bravo. This goes into my top 5 list for sure.
This is the first tiny house that I’ve actually fallen in love with. I’ve been making a list of what I want in my tiny home, and a lot of the features here are what I’d like have in mine.

I just love how Bryce moves a step backward when he says can we check the inside of the house. He does this in almost every tiny house he visits. I bet most of you wont notice it but it is one simple gesture of respect and humility. Salute to you Bryce for being so respectful and humble.
I notice that in all his visits. It is a sign of respect to the home owner, humility, gratitude for allowing he and Rasa to film and a genuine warmth and interst from Bryce
The whole presentation is a courteous and respectful, be it ‘high tech’ or ‘rustic’ Bryce tunes in! He and Rasa have beautiful souls!

This couple did a fantastic job of designing and building a home that they can comfortably live in for the rest of their days- no loft to climb, no compost toilet to empty, lots of room and lots of storage. Beautiful, just beautiful. I would certainly enjoy this home.

If in USA it’s too large.. with says no more than 8.5 ft by 24 ft outside.. inside would be less space.
He said 12m x 3m (or 39.37ft x 9.84 ft.)

I’ve watched nearly every episode not only of this channel but Jenna’s channel too and I can safely say this Tiny House is my Favorite #1 Tiny House! It has absolutely everything I could ever want or need! At my age and health, it would comfortably be my forever home. I wouldn’t change a single thing!

Me too! I'm in love with both the sitting and standing desks! It's rare for a tiny house to have decent ergonomic desks like this house. Love the office storage too.
Desk space is something I cannot compromise, and this house goes into my top 5 list just for the desks alone.

That mezzanine standing office is such a killer idea! It allows for good use of the 3D space without compromising headroom underneath. I'd have to mod it with some kind of hide away seating since standing for too long is challenging, but wow! What an idea!
And all that built in storage! No wonder they're so rightfully proud of their home!
Depending on your set-up, you could replicate the idea he used in the bathroom, the pull-out bench. Problem solved. ;)
If I get tired I just sit on the top step or loft floor :)

This is an amazing home -- I particularly like what Colin and Megan said, about people who would like to downsize and live more affordably and with a smaller environmental footprint, without quite embracing a more alternative lifestyle, because I think that would apply to many people who think a tiny house would never do for them. Couldn't agree more. I've been watching this channel and others for years now but i was smiling from start to finish in this one. He was like a little kid showing us every bit of it. Great episode and their home is amazing.

This tiny house is the best design I've seen, particularly in the loft area. I have always said, should I be fortunate enough to own one, the loft would have to be high so I can stand with many windows as well. This home is a 10 in my view. Lovely couple

I would steal this design! It is perfect for an older couple to live in for years. Such a beautiful home. It shows their love for the house and one another.
This is a house I could actually see myself in! I don't like lofts and ladders so I've always preferred the houses like this where it's something you CAN grow old in. And all the smart tech touches are really cool!
