    Ducati Panigale V4S Superlite Quick Change Sprocket Install! Cleaning up the rear hub! In this episode, we install the Superlite Quick Change Sprocket kit with the Superlite Sprocket Flange. Not only are we saving static weight but rotational mass as well. Superlite makes some great options for the Ducati Panigale V2 and Ducati Panigal V4. Their products are top quality and the all black sprocket kit looks amazing on the bike! The sprocket carrier weighs 40% less than the oem part. I wanted to go with a different brand than Ducabike even though, Ducabike is probably the most popular part manufacturer for Ducati's. I still used the Ducabike sprocket nuts as I could not find any better options. Clean up the rear end of your bike this kit from Superlite sprockets. Stay tuned for when we install the new axle nuts, sprocket nuts and the titanium cush drives! More panigale mods coming up! This same sprocket kit can also be used on the ducati streetfighter v4!

    @motovice eccentric Hub torque specs you mention was 25.8 ft lbs seems to tight for it. I believe it supposed to be 20-25 nm , unless the 2022 model specs change. If you hear a clicking noise while spinning the wheel , that means its too tight.
    Great videos by the way

      Thank you! I referred to Cali Moto for the torque. Where are you seeing the 20-25nm? I’m swapping out some parts on the rear end soon and definitely don’t want to overtighten.

      @@MotoViceOfficial Great video man , keep it up. I just hit the Subcribe to support your channel. I get the specs from Ducati Dealer, there are also a email from Italy to all Ducati dealers regarding the v4/S/R tightening correction. Please refer to link. That particular part of the swing arm are so sensitive , i have seen them crack before from DIY cause by overtightening.
      I think your 25.8 ft lbs is too tight and might end up hearing that needle bearing clicking noise....
      *Exact Torque 20nm + - 5% = 19nm to 21nm

    Great video. Any reason for not applying a small amount of grease to the splines of the rear axle to prevent corrosion and make future removal easy.

    Great video. I have to replace the rear disc. Do you think this will require the rear spindle to be removed and would that be anymore difficult than what you have shown here?
    Where did you get the chain tightening tool?
    Thanks for sharing this video👍

    Nice job, looks real good! Why didn’t you use the opportunity to change to 520, I have 1199 with 525 and 1299 with 520 and first chance I get Im switching to 520 on the 1299. I stopped using wax its crap to clean, I use WD40 to clean the change then a coat of engine oil on a rag, all these years I don’t get chain issues.

    • @MotoViceOfficial
      @MotoViceOfficial  Před rokem +2

      I personally dont like 520's on liter bikes. I know people use them and have no issues but for me, I just feel more comfortable with a 525.

    Question? Did you have to use the rear stand when you removed the sprocket? I only noticed the front stand. Thank you 🙏

    • @MotoViceOfficial
      @MotoViceOfficial  Před rokem +1

      I kept it on the ground in gear to crack the axle nut and then put the rear stand to pop it off.

    Does the V4 need a speedo healer of some sort or is that all read off the front wheel?

      I believe it reads from the abs snesors. I could be wrong.
