- Update of our Lego Investment, we now have 311 sets that we will sell, then reinvest in more lego rinse and repeat until we are ready to retire, then sell the entire collection before leave for the Philippines.

Hi Guys, as i worked and was responsible for production lines one big rule was, NEVER STORE ANYTHING ON THE GROUND . Everything has to be stored either on shelving or pallets.
I was wondering how easy it would be to actually sell everything before you eventually moved to the Philippines. you are correct in stating that you have a certain value for everything but it is being able to sell everything for that price AND being able to sell your whole collection. It is easy buying, but selling is then a different matter.
many collectors end up selling the rest of their stock at low prices because either they have no time or no customers.
Anyway, i wish you good luck in your venture, at least you have a plan and you are doing something for your future.
@kuya.Ian63 hi. Ian thanks for watching and commenting.Yes, we learnt the hard way but who would guess you would get a flood? Also, they were a little of the ground just not enough. When we said sell the entire collection, we meant individual sales not going to sell as a lot. When ready to leave we will sell but not buy more just save the last batch of sales to give us a good lump sum to buy house and lot or what ever we decide NEST egg to fall back on aswell as our pensions etc. Thanks again, take care, Ian.
No trains or large buildings though, they are my favourite and the only stuff I get.
@neilrusling-je6zo hi. I don't buy modular they are too expensive for me. Also trains are usually more than £100 that's around my limit of price unless on discount or gwp. Maybe later if they come out with a cheaper one. Thanks for commenting.

@@VickersCouple It was good of you to show your new wife where you lived so you both could make up your minds where you want to live in your retirement years. You are NOT yet old enough to retire. You look too young. But then look at king chuck. He is white haired and should retire. I think the monarchy is dying. Literally. Anyway God bless your today and tomorrow.

@TheMiltonroad Hi, thanks for watching. Some people do both also Pops and Hot Wheels. I'm getting too old to try to remember all that you have to remember. I have enough with Lego. set numbers, value, retirement dates ,how many mini figures, how much it costs, and how much to buy it for. I couldn't do it with Pokemon cards as well. Too much info to keep in my head. For you to have a little go wouldn't be too difficult. Just do your research before buying. Thanks again.

@steve101968 hi. Thanks for watching. It wouldn't be worth it to try to claim our neighbours are a young couple the flood damaged more of their things than ours and they don't have the money. No point causing hardship to others who don't have anything. We'll make money on the sets, just not as much as before. Thanks
