- Here are all of Jerry Smith's best moments from Rick and Morty Season 4.
Jerry may be the butt of Rick’s jokes, and the rest of the Smith/Sanchez family for that matter, but he still occasionally has his moments and time to shine. Now that the family is back together in season 4, Jerry is trying his best to be less pathetic, and not show his weak side around them, but it still leaks through. With that said, here are the Jerry-est Moments of Rick and Morty Season 4!

Someone actually pointed this out that makes total sense about Jerry and it honestly gives me a little more respect for him
Jerry is Ricks opposite in every way. While Rick thrives in technologically advanced society Jerry thrives in an environment devoid of all technology. He was never meant to thrive in a modern society but in the woods. He's a survival expert. Notice how in Rick Potion 9 when everyone got Chronenburged, Jerry immediately stepped up, tracked his wife and daughter down and saved them from being killed. Flash forward and they are thriving. Less intelligent but well fed and very physically fit.
My point is, take away the tech and Jerry is in his element. And that's why Rick torments him every chance he gets. Bc if there ever comes a time when tech is taken away, Jerry is the man his family will turn to for help and rely on instead of Rick and Rick himself can't stand the very thought of that happening.
Also he is called dumb and useless but the guy knows how to make fire with no ligther, matches or flamable chemicals, that’s very hard to do and a skill that the average joe doesn’t have, let alone he does it easily
what the fck. Rick is the smartest man in the universe, and remember that episode where Rick and Morty got stuck in that miniverse that powers Ricks space ship? They got stuck in the middle of nowhere and he still managed to survive for months and made a giant robo suit. Jerry is nothing special imo, and that is what the show wants us to think about him
6:29 and also look at what happens when he is out alone in nature because he screwed up. That river would have probably killed him if the giant city didnt save him.
i disagree, he's still a moron, besides which way Rick would thrive even if he's left with no technology like when he was a pickle and managed to not only survive, but also get out of the sewers and kill a bunch of security, and he didn't even have arms or legs. Or like someone said, that time when they were in the car battery and they were stranded for like months and when he had the cave fight with zeep it took him like 4 seconds to craft a crossbow. Also if Jerry was so very physically fit he wouldnt be scared of almost everything and cowering all the time. He definitely has his moments, but if they had a physical fight with Rick, with no technological help whatsoever, im pretty sure Rick would still beat the crap out of him
@@santiagoossa2301 not really, its about friction. Im not saying it's easy but if you're determined to do it youll do it, it's not such a rare skill anyways. The main problem is your hands going numb or the sticks being wet. Also you can do it with a magnifying glass which is probably the easiest way to start a fire without a lighter of flammables

I always feel bad for Jerry because of the constant verbal abuse he gets from his wife, father in law and children. It makes sense why he's always so meek and 'pathetic' because he's the least fucked up family member. Depressing how he's only given affection when his family feels he deserves it. He's just a jobless sad man
- The post credits ending clip in the *Bee Keeping Jerry* episode (S4/E7) shocked me & made me hope for a resolved cliffhanger in the next episode.
- But the chicken writers wouldn't let Tricia Lang, Summer's girlfriend, make her desired move.

J he’s a supposed to be a parent and he forgot all about him. Beth left the kids with Jerry while she was with Rick.

@@someguyontheinternet1093 doesn’t really matter weather they think of him as a parent or not. Jerry abandoned them and with all the more crazy stuff that went on that it was never addressed.

Also they're both teenagers not helpless little kids , one of which is technically a young adult. They could/should have just stayed at the campfire and they would have been safer, especially since they claimed to know it all. Do you think he should have stayed so Summer could continue to verbally abuse him after he was trying to spend time with them?

She’s extremely annoying and always craves attention from Rick thinking he cares about her when in reality he’s a shit father and she needs to understand that and stop trying to get attention or become like him.
