I like using a glass cutter for creating the crease lines. It doesn't cut the paper
Thanks for posting this design. I made mine a bit larger, and found that a ball point pen did the job of the dull knife quite effectively. This creased the paper along the lines without requiring me to dull one of my knives and make sure I didn't press too hard.
Tip: be aware of the direction of the creases, score the paper to the side that the crease goes to, this means you will be flipping the paper over from one line to the next, and reversed on the other side of each corners, this will help the folding process go a lot faster and help keep the paper stronger too.
need double sided drawing for that?
Thanks,
Best wishes for Wisconsin, USA.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! great video!.
This was great help, cheers :)
Well done...!!!
Best wishes from Bavaria / Germany. :-)
You can recover them with tyvek type bellow material fairly cheaply, if you recover the old ones yourself. Regular paper won't last very long at all.
thanks from France it's cleaver tuto!!!
You're welcome!
Your bellows engine reminds me of the Brayton cycle Barber engine of 1792.. it would be great to see a working copy of that engine...
Thank you! So generous...
Very cool! Thank you
Glad you liked it!
excelente explicacion puedes enseñarme a fabricar un fuelle para un acordeon hohner corona III
with a little stronger material i am thinking how this can be used for making a low-cost patient ventilator ....
Gracias.Thanks. Merci.
Cool
pneumatix. really efficient design thankyou, doesnt even need stickytape!
No worries. I don't get on every day either.
thanks man
Hello James! Thank you for the awesome video! I tried registering on your web site in order to download the plans, but the registration seems to be down. Also, receiving error messages when attempting to contact you via email form. Any chance you can help me obtain these plans? Thank you very much in advance
I fixed the mail form, use it us to contact me with your email and I will send you the bellow plan
Went to the site, couldn't find this.
It is the top item under Air Engines. I called it Pneumatic Power System 1
Many thanks. I signed up to the site. Got the plans in the end. Tried the paper section out. worked great. Thanks again for taking out time to reply. Regards.
The easiest way to get a good seal is to unfold the bellow flat so you can roll and join the page end-to-end before refolding. It's trickier to fold this way, but it's not impossible.
I suppose for anything that needs a bellow.
Can it be called origami
Bonjour merci pour la vidéo , j’ai essayé de trouver votre gabarit mais je ne le trouve pas pourriez vous m’aider

just get a large spring and put a plastic sheet round it.
Is there there a mathematical reason why it is in a hexagonal shape?
bogtheforest nope, at least not planned. It is basically a based what I seen on old time cameras.
JEPLANS Actually I just realized it's not in a hexagonal shape...
