Finally! Not just a voice I can tolerate, but one that is incredibly pleasant. Thank you, Mr. Harris.
Quite possibly the best narrator on Libravox! 😮Thank you for donating your time to record this! 🎉
Mike Harris, you should be a professional actor. This is one of the BEST readings I've ever heard, accents and all, not at all common in the world, let alone Librevox. I am so impressed and so grateful. You are a star.
hehe "let alone Librivox", sad but true, that.
A great reading by Mike Harris. As a British listener, he brings life and clarity to Wodehouse's wit. Thanks Mike!

Love this guy's accent so much
I am in love :} He has such depth of understanding of the people - fits Wodehouse's characters like a glove. . .
i realize Im pretty off topic but does anyone know a good place to stream new tv shows online ?
@Archie Kevin Lately I have been using Flixzone. Just search on google for it =)
The stories are very good, the reader is very-very good.
I am enjoying these stories, more than I can say.
More please, and thank you so much. Colin. The UK.
p.g. wodehouse has probably dozens of books to enjoy. He is also the author of the famous Wooster and Jeeves stories.
I know.this voice! This narrorator is the voice-over for a plethora of crime shows! 👏 wow.
The Man Upstairs was delightfully wonderful!
I look forward to more like this one!
Excellent reader! What a pleasant, clear and highly effective rendition. Thank you so much.

Little slices of life, over a cigar to pass the time
Plum spent a lot of time in America... I’m sure he would have enjoyed this reading as much as I did!
Op
Brilliantly read, superb voice many thanks!
I keep thinking " However did they get that Winchester guy from MASH to do an audio read ?"
Is it him?? Sounds like him.
Great stories to listen too while working! Thank you!
Great Book
Thanks 👍 📖 😃
Have you noticed that every once in a while he has an Australian accent of all things? it's adorable :}
Yes, I noticed it too.
who is the narrator? sounds like the man who does that crime-murder show, night line. who is it?
ya gotta show a little sympathy for those who know no Wodenhouse.
+Wolffenhaus Merry - Amen !
Was that great author who stared in the old 'Yellow Pages ' TV adverts in the 1980's ?
I can't fully understand what he says. Do someone know another like this audiobook who speaks at the same speed , where there are subtitles ?
I'm sorry, did you mean, does someone, rather than, do someone? His reading is clear and his emphasis when necessary is fantastic, the speed in which he reads is relatable so I'm completely baffled by your comment, I'm not trying to be rude but I honestly don't understand what exactly you're referring to, you mention subtitles, could it possibly be that you are hard of hearing?
@@mytwopennorth7216 wow, if you read the comments you and the op are one of very few, if any, I personally think he's fantastic, sad you don't care for it.
yeah hard of hearing people don't exist
Turn on subtitles on YT or your phone , device..😊
Grrrrrr, please post each story timeline.
Grrrrrrrrr
Mike Harris wonderful voice enjoying your reading. You do sound like Charles in Mash!!im sure its an eastern USA accent.
+917340093002 whatsapp I'm good fuckker guy
LOL, I guess I'm a terrible person. In the first story, I would have said the same things to that guy Sellers when he was criticizing the cat. When they other man pretending to be sweeping the floor, I would've burst out laughing instead of crying; and I certainly wouldn't have apologized. Oh well. :)
Oops Wodehouse.
Good morning, what about subtitles?
2:14:14 Story no 5
I do appreciate the upload and I appreciate the quality reader (some Librivox readers are painful to listen to) but I guess I'm the proverbial gift horse teeth inspector. How can someone upload a large collection of several different stories without putting a time mark table of contents in the intro?
I’m hoping to find one if the listeners has done it .. I just spent days listening to a mystery st night .. fall asleep then try to find place.. and it was a multiple book series download.. sooo frustrating.
@1:39
Bill Curtis! That's bill Curtis. ..! ?? m, il
This guy sounds like chris hansen
Sorry but only an English accent does justice to Wodehouse .
"mmm....bang....."
Doc Gray cAs
I think the narrator sounds very like Danny Kaye.
Good reader :} even if he's not British LOL Hard to be a reader of British literature without having an English accent. he's fine. . .
I would agree you would expect an upper class English accent for Wodehouse. Welsh, Scottish or Irish accents would be appropriate for other British literature as appropriate though.
Jesus. An American. GDFS

Hey, who is reading?
Well I have to say it was well read. But the stories give the impression that there was a shortage of available women in the time of this authors writing. That a man was to go to such plans to obtain one. 😂
Staccato voice hard to listen to.
Pants!
Abysmal reading, utterly wrong
Link to you doing better?
Let's examine the logic behind that comment, shall we? Imagine you are at a restaurant, and instead of the steak you ordered, a turd on a plate is set down in front of you. You complain to the waiter, and he says "show me proof that *you* can do better". I suppose you'd apologize for speaking out of turn and tuck in to your delicious, medium-rare plateful of shit, wouldn't you?
Well, that touched a nerve. You could just have provided that link?
@@patavinity1262 Imagine you are at a restaurant, and instead of the steak you ordered, what you think is a turd on a plate is set down in front of you. You eat it and then complain to the waiter describing how it tasted!
@@johnwade1095 I know, right? Lol, kind of double standard, it's okay for you to critique and yet.....?
