Lamborghini Countach 5000 QV w/ Kreissieg exhaust !!

- I recorded this amazing Lamborghini Countach 5000 Quattrovalvole with Kreissieg exhaust (Cat-back F1 Sound Exhaust System). This aftermarket stainless steel exhaust makes the Countach much noisier then the stock one. Although the driver didn't revved the engine hard, the idle sound is in real life pretty hard.

Doesn't matter what other cars are there...the cameras always focus on the Countach....the best supercar of all time :)

You're right: this amazing bodyshell deserved a better engine and handling.
The QV was,all in all,what the Countach had to be since it's appearance:
performance was actually lacking in most of Countach versions and the car was slow (in its class) until the QV was offered.
A milestone in sportcars history however, thanks to Bertone's chief designer Marcello Gandini.

The rev in this video was not as loud as the one on Kreissieg's CZcams channel and site

I prefer the look and the sound of the factory item though. It seems to me that the Countach is not the kind of car to have aftermarket items added. A Supra or an Impreza or a Skyline, yes by all means, but to my mind, a Countach should retain it's originality and integrity. That's just my opinion though :-)

this is the most incredible looking car I've ever Seen. the 1st one I saw was in Jupiter Florida in the 80's and if I won the lotto I'd own one in White AND Red. $150,000 SO WHAT ~ !

I think its Japanese. Type in kreissieg Lamborghini countach, and pick the video showing the back of the countach. You'll understand why these exhausts are a big deal. They do em for a whole bunch of cars. Almost sound as good as Larini's, Akrapovic's and dare i say it, Tubi's

@sam9m screw the European regulations, they screwed it up for every V12 car lover, the Aventador is quite because they had to be in line with the regulations or else they won't allow selling it in Europe :(
The exposed exhaust pipes on the back from that aftermarket setup looks like crap!

Sounds odd, almost like a V8. Spoils it a bit for me. Also has the look of some aftermarket kit car exhaust.
don't get me wrong...Its not that I don't love it...Its still on a poster in the living room....but its not the best supercar of all time :P

Not too many cars that you can say you love driving and you're not even moving yet.
Well...the Countach in terms of actual driving is quite a disaster, at least in modern terms.
The car was thought as extreme as possible for the times so the steering (no power steering) and clutch were hard as hell, actually you need heavy muscular effort to manuver them, because it was engineered as a road-legal racing car.
There also is no air conditioning and the windows are fixed and only have a tiny opening...and you are basically sitting in the cockpit with the huge 12 cylinder monster engine....
The car was designed for a few laps racing style in which the pilot would come out like after a sports event....sweaty, deaf and tired.
Driving it for say 3-400km was almost impossible, you would simply be pooped, your ass aching, half deaf and in a pool bath of sweat.
In fact most used models on the market today have all low milages, like 15.000km...the car was basically not usable and just ok for a short ride at a time.
But ok it's part of the charm...

Sorry....Still not following you. Some people just like a good looking car that goes fast. Sorta like Super bikes....of which I had one. Painful to ride for more than half an hour but you felt like superman until then.
the looks were definitely revolutionary for the time....but the handling....well...they were nowhere near good to be honest....and the cabin was tiny, the clutch was too heavy, etc :P
