For someone afraid of heights I was content about flying and I was actually super excited because it’s a different experience. I see all these first time flyer videos and now I’m panicking 😭
Take off is always the worst lol I never get used to it
For anyone who is afraid of flying, I'll just point out that statistically, you are more likely to be killed or injured while you are traveling to or from the airport than you are while on the plane. Commercial aviation is the safest form of travel, to the extent that more people die annually in road accidents worldwide than have died in commercial aviation accidents since the birth of commercial aviation...
As an aviation enthusiast and hopeful pilot, it really makes me excited to see other people experience the joy of flying. I hope you have many more great flights mate and good day. Cheerio man! I subscribed:)

I was 5 years old. My Dad sent me and my mom to my second cousin's wedding. We flew from Charlotte to Atlanta. She would been my Mom's first cousin. My first wedding as well to be an attendee. I think I like the glamorous flight attendants the best.
The window seat is the best! My first flight was in the middle seat and I was so busy telling the lady in the aisle seat that it was my first flight, I didn't even realize the plane took off! It was a gentle lift. Now, the takeoffs are my favorite part! Love to hear the engine and going fast up the runway! lol
The middle seat first flight is unlucky haha. The take off is cool not going to lie. The sound of the airplane increasing speed is soothing but that first lift off be having me feel like my soul separated haha
my go to: chewing gum, really comfy clothes, early flights, music, closing my eyes, trying to secure my legs below the seat thats in front of me, always letting the pressure out of my ears, crossing my fingers cause it helps w synchronizing the right and left hemispheres of the brain.. mind control before the day came, that my flight experience is gonna be good.. and most importantly trying to find where u feel most secure (for me its definitely not a window seat, and on the left side of the airplane) hope it helps...

@@justarijones3403 haha when i found these out this was the 2. time.. i was on an airplane when i was younger but i didnt remembered of it like it can be bad, but going to mallorca was bad🥹😅 coming home was better than going there.
I also wanted to say really early flights are good cause u have more adrenaline in the early hours…n u dont feel the motion sickness that much, that way. I dont really look out the window tho haha, also I used mind control so i imagine my flight a few times before the day came that its gonna go well, im gonna feel good, n thats what happened. I kinda hate/love the takeoff 😂
I've been travelling since I was 3mths old and love planes. Boats though scare me but had to do boat trips to get on islands in Philipinnes and ships for travel between UK and France. For me planes feel safe.
I feel the same about 2 wheels, I feel safer on bicycles, scooters and motorbikes but in cars I don't feel safe. I fell free on two wheels and claustrophobic in vehicles.
Started a new job and the office was full of paperwork wall to walk, used two days to rearrange the place, it's still packed but desk area clearer.
Strange how the brain processes fear and phobias.
Can't wait to go on my first plane in August to Italy 😁✈️🇮🇹

I went back to bed this morning. Felt good; slept another 2 hours. And yesterday morning I went back to sleep for 3 more hours. But, if I was going for an airplane ride I'd be there almost immediately. Some of us LOVE airplanes. I've enjoyed riding in small planes and jets, helicopters and gliders, aerobatic planes, flying lessons . . . LET'S GO!

I prefer traveling by plane. Amtrak would be my second choice, and Greyhound is out of the equation. :D
cool video of your first flight. have you noticed that not only is the horizon always flat to the observer, but it always rises to eye level with the observer who takes flight, no matter how high the observer ascends. if the earth were a globe, the lateral horizon would be bowed and it would drop below the eye level of the observer as he ascended above the earth.

I'm 19yrs and I've been flying since I was 7yrs old but each time I enter a plane I get really scared till today I still hold on tight to the arm rest of the seat during take off😂😂😂💔

I remember during my first time flyer it's freaking turbulence and got nervous.
Ironically turbulence means there is wind over the wings meaning you are flying fine!
