  • 510k Singaporeans went to Malaysia over Good Friday, jamming up the causeway. And along the way, many Singaporeans experienced a good deal of car windows being smashed, causing many people to question the idea of a JB retirement.
Here is what Mr Loo has to say.

Exactly true! The world outside Singapore is so different and we cannot take things for granted. Crime rates are way higher in most countries, including many developed countries and comparatively, Malaysia is actually good. Like you mentioned, it’s really boils down to costs benefits analysis.. nice !

It goes to show safety is not to be taken from granted in overseas. JB is also overseas. Buying a house in JB also does not means its safe like Singapore, with a triple gated community is to deter robbers, but does not mean its not possible to happen.
Having said this, its better to prevent than to let it happen and act on it (cure). Best is to avoid if you cannot manage it.

While the goal is to ensure a successful claim, it is crucial to understand that any misrepresentation of the facts is unacceptable. That would be a dampener to the spate of CZcams videos by various other "experts" hard selling idea of SGreans buying property in JB. (2) These minor crimes are a nuisance. .. Not unexpected. Locals will get green eyed.. Will resort to whatever means to show their unhappiness. Will always be looked at as invaders.. Perfect place to retire and buy a 1mil property. Haha.. You can fool yourself by saying all other countries are the same.. Sure sure.

already proven most who pumped the 95ron petrol were mainly M'sians driving S'pore registered cars.

European mostly drive cheapo cars and self dents here and there. Drivers themselves dont care.
Major European countries polices or security guards are totally crap. Beyond useless.

Talk nonsense lah. Singapore low crime? In Singapore, bicycles got stolen very very commonly. Police just create a case no. and do nothing to recover. My Ipad was stolen in Singapore when I wash my hand, CCTV caught the couple in video but the police did not bother to recover my Ipad too. So long winded, talk so much in the end ask people to buy insurance??? Spreading propaganda about Singapore Police Force.
People who left visible valuables in their car is just stupid and willing to share with other. 😂 The smart ones purposely allow their faulty cars to get stolen so they can claim insurance and get a new car. It is common knowledge.
