I THINK I CAN ADD ARCH ENEMY TO MY MOUNT RUSHMORE OF FAVORITE BANDS. As an old school hard rocker I normally don't groove the scream type vocals BUT THIS REALLY WORKS. The music is just everything metal is all about, the musicianship is awesome and high level. The stage presence and setting outstanding. The songs all blockbusters. And this babe doing the vocals is outstanding. IS THIS THE WONDER WOMAN OF METAL? tHE WHOLE BAND AND THE WHOLE THING un freakin believeable.I dont care what rock mindset you come from old school Sabbath/Deep Purple or Marilyn Manson/Gorgoroth or tech profficient Yngvie/Steve Vai or a steel edged Iron Maide/Priest/ Accept everyone can find something in this band. BEST OF ALL THEYRE COMING TO MY TOWN DES MOINES IN OCTOBER. I'll be the first one in line.
You check the other band he was in--Evermore. They were real good too except they sorta had more of a rawk groove to them aalthough Jeff definitetly gave it a nice metallic feel.
Angela will always be a beast for so many reasons. She showed us a chick was capable of singing metal and being a badass at it for years. I'll always have love and respect for her. At first I didnt know how I'd feel about Alissa but she's proven time and time again she's also pretty badass. They just both have different styles of singing. That seems to be one of the things held against Alissa..because she doesn't sound exactly like Angela. Well they're 2 different voices and you have to also remember Angela picked this chick herself. She knew what she was doing. Change is good and honestly she's brought many good changes to Arch Enemy since she's been in the band. Angela was one of a kind but she couldn't do as much with her voice as Alissa can. Now they have like quadrupled their fans because their sound is evolving. Not one of the members isn't extremely talented either. They all bring their own awesome talents with them on stage.
Alissa like Johnny Cash, she takes other people's songs and she can make them sound better!This sounds alot better than any other live Arch Enemy 'Under Black Flags We March'! I guess that's how she made the band bigger though!
@@GradyRoy I certainly like Angela's vocals a lot, but without a doubt Alissa was born to be in Arch Enemy. I hope one day I can see a duet between the two of some Arch Enemy song
Tbh i love this song and AE anyway but in my opinion angela will always be my favourite but alissa has taken them on a different journey and shes a great choice of front women to replace angela
Uhh... do you even know what genre this is? It's metal. Not pop. You can't jump or run or even walk properly in heels. And it's their style anyway so keep whining.
