Happy to see Darren tackle more realistic spaces, with more realistic constraints than the no limits/any budget fantasy projects. These really show his versatility in creating more grounded spaces for real people with real requests and different styles. 👏👏👏

The fantasy ones are fun. This is more practical - both types of series are great, and it's a testament to Darren's skills and talents that he does both so well.
Darren is a phenomenal designer at every budget! I love the way that he worked to evolve the current spaces into more sophisticated spaces rather than simply replacing everything and starting with a clean slate.
Loooved these! He’s thinking about a lot of factors when re designing these kitchens, and seeing that they can be realistic is amazing!
This channel offers nothing but the absolute best. The homes and other infrastractures featured on here are of the best I've ever seen with my own eyes.

I need to see Darren have a show like Love It or List It, but he redesigns houses and shows the before and After with all of his touches. I love the redesigns. I'd love to see what he would do for renter friendly designing where you can't repaint or change the colors.

The two sinks are for first washing the dishes in hot water and then rinse it down in cold water to remove dish soap. Because nobody wants to taste dish soap or anything else for cleaning. 😉

Some interesting ideas here, but rugs and curtains in a kitchen, when you actually cook, means you have to wash them every week. A type of venetian store and no rug would be a better fit. Plus, rugs tends to generate falling, you don't want that, especially in a kitchen

I LOVE that he kept the bones of Sallye’s kitchen! Panelizing the fridge and removing the tile inset instantly turn the kitchen into a chic space while remaining true to the original design of the house. So many designers would end up gutting it entirely, which would be a real shame!

I can almost guarantee there is asbestos and/or lead in the floors of the first house. So budget in abatement.
The triangle is so 90's and obsolete. It isn't the solution for modern dual cooks.
