Seeing as the fact I understand when or when not to go in for that stuff, (espacily if there is a ton of people using it) it's a better idea not to even try if you know that you'll just lose. Never fun to fight against, unless if your Aila theen you can just well destroy them, but I don't have AILA. So I understood that I was outmatched seeing as all the Survivors were together what was I susposed to do...
I don't recommend fear battery and camera for people ranks 200 and under. I do however recommend it for more experienced players who don't need extra health to survive.

you should try metal bat + gaslight perk (nightfall)
gear cooldown is 30 second but with fear battery perk that recharge 2x, it would be 15 second if you can keep near slasher

Also try this combo bandages and gaslight it's op
You can also try this with spare batteries perk since it gives massive gear recharge when your lamp is on
It's bad since the lamp regenerate so slow

The legendary perk never gets old
