Thanks for the review. It helped me make my decision on purchasing this watch! I found it on Amazon and then came across your review when I was trying to decide if I wanted to pull the trigger on it. Like you I wish the hands were a little larger but other than that this watch really checks all the boxes for me. The dial layout is a mixture of a pilots watch and an explorer style which are my two favorites so this one immediately caught my eye. This will be my first San Martin watch so I’m looking forward to getting it in hand. The bracelets on these seem to be unrivaled for the price point and I especially like the 4mm taper that the implement. Thanks a lot for the thorough review!
It seems like a mish mash of stuff from a bunch of watches. Like if you took some of the most popular bits from a bunch of watches and put them all in one watch. Individually they are great but together it doesn't quite work. Its good value though! Have as good weekend Aviv!
I like it more with the previous dial ( numpers and rough surface dial )but diside to go with the baltany d12 quartz.37mm is a bit small for my opinion and as you mentioned cathedral and the noisy 8 series myiota is from another era, also dont like the old San martin logo in this small dial, any way the quality is still there if you like it,cheers Aviv👍
Mmm it comes so close to scratching the explorer itch. I’m so tired of waiting I’m probably just going to get a superfake 12427 I like how readable it is. The hands are ok could but could be better I agree. I love the all brushed! Wish they did it more. It’s so inexpensive might just have to buy it. Achi, I love your reviews. They are perfect.
This one has a whiff of the Hamilton Cooper to it, while not being a direct homage or copy. I'm tempted, but I am really turned off by that Miyota movement. How does it feel? Is it noisy or wobbly. My only Miyota movement is an 8215 in a Laco Vlieger and it has a terrible crown feel and hand movement. I'm thinking of replacing the movement if I could find something that fit.

I'm glad you found it helpful! Enjoy your new watch ☺️
@@MyAffordableWatchCollection really enjoying it! The quality and feel on the wrist is seriously next level. Thanks again! Enjoy your weekend.
I think San Martin nailed this one. I really like it.
I'm glad to hear! Thanks for watching 😊
Looks good on you! But I'm also not a fan of the cathedral hands on this. I feel like it's a mismatch.
Yeah they should have gone for a different handset. Thanks for watching Eve, have a great weekend!
Yeah I agree, I like cathedral hands but it's a mismatch on this one. Only thing holding me from buying.
Nice review Aviv!
Thanks Steve!
Super nice looking watch
Great review, beautiful footage as always
Thank you 😊

You too Johan, thanks for watching!
Excellent review !!!
Thank you!
Nice watch!
Thanks for stopping by!
A fair review 👍 I like the dial, 38mm would be better for me, but I completely agree on the hands, they belong on a different watch.
Thanks for watching my friend 😊
I like the style but I am worried about shortcuts on the movement and finishing, disappointing
Thanks for watching Chris!

The case and case back are actually thick enough so that they muffle the noise coming from the 8215. Still would have preferred an NH35 😊

Thank you achi, I'm glad you're enjoying my videos 😊
@@MyAffordableWatchCollection what do you think about printed vs applied dials? I always prefer applied
If they're made well enough, I can appreciate both. It depends on the watch itself, if it looks good I don't mind either way.
I got the San Martin Explorer homage in the last sale. I've never been an Explorer fan, but that watch is a sweetie. Made me a SM fan. Recommended.

Dial of an Air King without the colour.
You have a good point 👍🏻
