I went Nigeria in 1978, that time General Obasanjo was the President. I lived in Jos, Platue State. After army coup General Murtala Mohammad was killed and General Obasanjo became the Nigerian president . That time Nigerian currency rate was 1 Nigerian Naira is to US 1 dollar 56 cent. Can you imagine ‼️ That time educational expenses was almost free. Students got lots of help from Nigerian government. Grocery items etc and everything was so cheap. People also bought one goat or sheep only within 15 to 20 Naira durning Eid Festival time.
