the year is 2025. you have your spin-pokestop ticket already and your catch-anything-but-pidgey ticket, but when you try to do a raid you realize you forgot your enable-poke-gym ticket. there's only a few minutes left in the raid, and you're not sure if you'll be able to get the access-to-poke-store ticket in time.
finally it doesn't matter...you get logged out of the game because you forgot to buy your stay-logged-in-for-more-than-an-hour ticket, and you've already signed in 3 times today and definitely won't be able to get the increase-number-of-logins ticket in time... you want to uninstall the game but you'll have to wait until tomorrow to log in and get the uninstall-game ticket.
Sadly the reality we are heading towards. Too many suckers who buy any ticket just to avoid the FOMO.

Honestly, for rare mythicals like this, they should make a version with a 10/10/10 IV floor for free and then ADD a paid ticket that gives access to a version with a 13/13/13 floor.

@@OxidizeTunes When I was at work and couldnt get to places for raids on my breaks I was dropping around $10-$20 a week on remote raids till they nerfed them and put the prices up. Now I maybe spend like $2 a month when I play
I think it's smart marketing for them to charge and it also keeps them rare and alot more valuable

Also you can’t trade mythical pokemon so it’s not really worth anything , especially if you get one with terrible IV’s that you’ll never power up to use

hey I was wondering and had a suggestion. I've been playing on and off since release, and this week was my first time ever realizing that my favorite part of the game, go league, has a COMPLETELY different meta system for IV's than the standard idea where a hundred percent iv is the best. I've always watched this channel, but I'd love to see some more of an emphasis among the big creators on those pesky go league iv's! (usually somewhere near 0 attack, 15 defense and hp, as attack affects cp the most, and with a low attack stat, u can level up your pokemon much further and get overall better stats) I think this is an often overshadowed part of the game and also the iv system and finding "rare pokemon" especially since you can't really find those kinds of ivs in raids or from research encounters. I think it'd be cool to at least see if you ever caught a top roll on a strong battle league pokemon. Either way love your content dude been watching since the beginning!

Niantic knows a lot of people didn't start or grind right when the game started so essentially they(myself included) are being fined to find the same pokemon that others who started the game earlier unlocked for free.
Why not go the whole 9 yards and say you're being 'held hostage'...or being discriminated against for being a newer player🤷♂️🤷♂️🤣. Nobody is being'fined'...they're not slapping tickets on your windshield, or dragging anyone to the ATM🤷♂️🤷♂️ you, like the rest of us have a choice...spend or don't spend, it's your cash

I got the free Zarude back in the day, but it had terrible IV's. Was really excited to see another opportunity to get one, but for $8 I'm not wasting my time or money. It'll take tons of raids/money to get the candy necessary for it to be worth the investment and it's just not worth it. Really a shame they didn't take the cosmos approach here, where you could pay to get an extra one, but still get one for free.

I’m now realising that today having the search for zarude quest ain’t normal, I’ve had my pokemon go account for almost 5 years now, but only really got into it in the last month or so, and I only just finished the 2021 search for zarude quest 😅
Not to mention the fact that Zarude was the 3rd pokemon ever to be released via Pokemon Go (Meltan/Melmetal being first) and that you could only get 1 per account!
So for collectors Pokemon collectors out there this is their last chance to get a complete Pokedex in for Home and for Sword/Shield (unless someone else gives up their one-of-a-kind Zarude to them).

I’m thankful I was around when it was out for free buuuut I’m still salty after Keldeo being locked behind a pay wall as well. Given, a lot of mythicals are event locked like the PoGo Fest ones but those have a lot of bonuses for getting a ticket and it’s worth it. This however doesn’t add up to being worth it
Zarude is still cheaper than an average fast food meal. Not being timed is also a plus. Keldio and zarude probably won't come to raids anytime soon.
