  • Carl Robbins is a psychotherapist with nearly 40 years of experience in treating anxiety disorders. He is the Director of Training at The Anxiety and Stress Disorders Institute of Maryland and a clinical instructor in the department of psychiatry at the University of Maryland. One of his sub-specialties is health anxiety.
    Carl is also a fellow traveler. He was diagnosed with sarcoidosis in 1999 and received treatment for over five years. He knows first-hand the fear and anxiety that many of us face as we cope with this disease that carries so much uncertainty.

    This talk was so helpful to me. The examples provided appeared to me as if they were taken from my recent life experiences as a worry-prone Sarcoidosis patient.
