As a Somali person I enjoyed watching your video and thank you for showing love to our culture ❤️
Waw somali bridal it’s so amazing 😻
This video was so culturally accurate that it actually even showed that when it comes to business? Somalis DO 👏 NOT 👏 PLAY! You want to be transformed into a bride, we bring the wedding to you babe! Stage, props, songs, the works lol. All inclusive, bar the husband of course lol
I saw Somali and clicked very fast 😭😭😭 can’t wait to watch

*MASHA'ALLAH* Manal
If the background music was Somali rather than instrumental it would have made it even more special. There are loads of non-copyrighted Somali bridal music

This is so stunning 😍
The dances 😭😂😂😭😭girl you hyped it thanks so much !
Actually been watching you for years!! i love this and youuuuu.
Hiddo iyo dhaqan translates to "tradition" as in traditional attire, however, the outfit is called Guntiino. Shaash is also my favorite.
Dambiil means a basket in the Af-Somali and what we put our milk in and you were holding is called "dhiil."
Wow you guys did such a great job I’m blown away by how beautiful the makeup the outfit and everything turned out🥰❤️
I am lovinggggg for this series!! Yaasss girl! Thank you for sharing my culture. You looked stunning 😍😍🇸🇴🇸🇴🇸🇴
You mean thanks for sharing ‘our’ Somali culture.
Loving these bridal series Mashallah your beauty and creativity is unmatched 🥰💗
Love this series ❤️❤️ just an FYI as I feel that even Somalis are confused about this/ The Hido iyo Dhaqan ‘dress’ is actually a guntiino and the fabric is called subeeciyad. All the outfits are hido iyo dhaqan and there are many other outfits that fall under that category. The words hido iyo dhaqan literally mean tradition and culture.
Actually the dress is called gareys sis but the fabric is subeeciyad or alindi. Guntiino is the way its wrapped around.
@@Relaxingsounds122 you're correct, sis x
Gareys or guntino and the material in called alindi
@@Relaxingsounds122 absolutely correct sis
@@Relaxingsounds122 yes and people hear alihindi and think it belongs to Hindi people when it’s not 😂 😂 😂
Been waiting for thisssssss💗💗💗💗
Literally made me want to get married all over again!! Love my culture and what a way you nailed it, Allahuma baarik!! Props to you girl, can’t wait to learn about the other cultures! 😍😍
This look, sis! I am obsessed. OBSESSED.

Shout out to the make up artist !!! She did an amazing job !
The makeup artist MashaAllah 😍😍
Green means "barwaaqo" "abundance, prosperity" so it is a great color for a wedding and a good symbolism of nature and living and prospering. In the Somali culture the color "white" symbolizes death, sterility, not living. So it is seen as bad omen.
I'm Somali and I've never heard that about the color white. Also, we are instructed to not believe in bad omens in Islam, so if any Somalis believe this, then it's cultural and wrong.
@@abukitten Hadaad somali tahay waad garanaysaa midabadda iyo waxay ka taagan yihiin
@@abukitten If you Somali how did you never heard of this? If a woman's husband's die what color does she wear for his mourning? They wear white for the grieving period. Why color are people buried in Islam?
@@averyj5446 Soomaali waan ahay lakiin weligay waxaad ku hadlisid maan maqlin. Maanta ayaa igu horayso. I love watching all your videos and thanks for this awesome video❤️🇨🇦
Wow Masha'allah beautiful 🥰 Super Team 👏🏼🇸🇴🇸🇴
My Somali jaw dropped when I saw this thumbnail!! Sooo gorgeous girl mashaAllah
MashaAllah u looked stunning 😍 cant wait for more looks looks 😍😘 InshaAllah x
Would love to see a Sudanese bridal look.
Btw Love the series keep up the good work ☺️
Yaasss ! I’m from Somalia and I looove this look🔥❤️❤️❤️
Impeccable video as usual 👌🏾👌🏾. I hope you can make West African countries like mine namely Côte d'Ivoire 🇨🇮 and Mauritania 🇲🇷
@ThinkBefore YouType Africa is of course connected, but what makes its richness is also its diversity. West Africa is "connected" but at the same time vast. The purpose of these videos is to show the traditional weddings from every country in the world, I just hope that if she has the chance to do so she will see this diversity. And as you said you are Somali, so you do not master West African culture like I do not master yours.
Chinutay thanks soo much for doin and appreciating our culture ❤️❤️🇸🇴
Stunning🙌 also how amazing would it be if there was also a lit wedding music playlist with each of these looks
Shash and hidiyoo dhaqan is my absolute fave looks
Becoz of this series i’m putting the notification bell on for the first time😭♥️
The makeup up is another level with the one and only manal ♥️♥️ , can’t wait to call you in my waiting,

She's harari but doing somali. There is no such difference between haarar and somali
Soo stunning 😍
Absolutely stunning 🤩

Chinutay looks Somalia 🇸🇴 maybe born overseas I don't know but everything she did about Somalia bridel clothing was amazing super beautiful. Thank you
Love This, MashAllah You look absolutely beautiful !!! just Wow
Beautiful I love it! Alhamdulilah! Smiles
Omg thank you. I have to sing in a wedding in 1 hour and have amygdalitis. You beautiful videos inspired me to get ready even though I don't feel well. God bless 🙏❤
It’s so neat how much resemblance there is between Moroccan and Somali culture - clothing & traditions. Also the 7 day celebrations used to be part of the Moroccan culture too but nowadays people are too broke to continue this tradition 😂
Not every family in the Somali people can afford the 7 day celebration either because it’s costly.
Same in somalis smh last time i heard bout that tradition was my aunties wedding
Somali and some Moroccan (Marrakesh, Tangier, Casablanca) region share closest of DNA as well
I need Moroccan wife 😂😂
@@Hawd hawd you're everywhere 😂😂😂😂
Yessss you look amazing allahuma barik
New subscribers from Somalia 🇸🇴 and you look incredible 😘
