Unfortunately there are a lot of playgrounds like that in Arizona but without any grass and the slides burn your ass cheeks from the hot weather.

This was brilliant. The introduction to the horror nightmare dimension is so much smoother when it starts out in a every day situation and in the blink of an eye (literaly) you'll end up in another dimension. It's like infinIKEA (the SCP).
- Also the white face with clearly distintive features on a black body making it seemingly levitate, and the black claws pulling the tied up dude.
This horror game is better than 90% of the horror games out there.
Jesus the amount of tension ABG was giving me by continuously looking back, THAT'S HOW THEY CATCH UP WITH YOU!

I really like how instead of jump scares, there is just suspense. It made the game more scary

For lesser-known indie games, this almost always turns out wrong.
This is what a slide in Silent Hill would probably be like.
I never got the feeling of "I was teleported into a nightmare dimension" by silent hill.
Clearly a missed opportunity. It felt so rushed in those games.
Should have been a slow, seamless transition - like that horror movies about the cursed hotel room.

I had a somewhat irrational fear of getting stuck in the slide at my local pool when I was younger. Now I feel justified.
You don't need much to create an effective horror game, but those elements do need to used correctly. Which is what the creator did here. Nice little game this.
I thoroughly enjoy this no commentary style playthrough. I love the silent ambience, it really just gives you the full experience as if you're the player itself.
People hate on this aesthetic but I honestly love the idea. It's like you've rented a game from Blockbuster in 2004 as a kid, but something eerie awaits. People that complain possibly don't realize just how many games there are available these days.
I'll take games like this over yet another sidescroller/platformer any day.

I disagree. Instrumentalists find their best style when they keep it simple and I believe that applies here.
@@Theeosees I don't care about the quality of graphics. The point is the atmosphere, and the best thing about the horror genre is that you can use that uncanny valley feel to your advantage. Also i think these older graphics evoke some special type of feeling just like the first resident evil games made me feel.

Yknow I originally came to your channel because of the combination of Niche games and the heightened atmosphere of No Commentary on horror play through
But I have to say, even without that I’ve come to really really appreciate that unique level of personality and emotion you can give your play throughs with just subtle camera movements
This is surprisingly one of the best uses of suspense and horror I've seen in a while. Simple setup but excellent execution in sound design and mystery.

I have a crack in my phone's screen and it's making the atmosphere for all these horror games way more impressive. Having warped graphics on anything gets creepy, damn.
Oh, also, sidenote, I love the content. I constantly suffer from insomnia and chronic back pain, so my nights are spent smoking weed and watching ABG videos. Recently I've been going through a rough time in my life, and having silent and quiet horror gameplay is just a super interesting thing. Thanks very much, I can't wait to see more

During the tunnel / slide chase, I noticed the flashlight was flickering…they should have made it where the flashlight completely goes dark for a section but the prompts for crawl should still be there…the player would get so freaked out because there wouldn’t be a way to know if you were crawling up an incline where the monster could potentially catch up to you
This game really plays on the fears of people with claustrophobia
This takes me back to this aerie dream I had when I was a kid and there were calm ponds around the park in the middle of nowhere with other vague kids
The end was surprising and a bit of a let-down for me tbh - but the overall game is great. Deserves some development in the lore.

This kinda reminds me of a creepypasta I read not too long ago: the mom and her two children (daughter & son) were on some kind of roadtrip and there was this slide in the middle of nowhere. Long story short, they get in the creepy slide which of course happens to be filled with an active mechanical system of knives and the story ends with the mother staring eye to eye with the decapitated head of her son while her daughter slowly and painfully descends to death.
I was not expecting to see a game made on SCP-1562. That's pretty cool.
