Spot on!!!! Season 7 description reads 'Tariq and the Tedejas go on a mission to avenge their loss'. This makes alot of sense. Diana(pregnant) represents a loss for Tariq and the Tejadas

I agree because ep 407 description says Dru works to take out a threat “to” Carter’s organization. Why would Dru be helping to take out a threat to Carter when he could easily let the threat kill Carter for killing his sister? The bigger question is why did Carter kill a man in front of Dru and not Dru. It tells me Carter is in the game or up to no good and Dru is working for him.

He's in law enforcement and Dru will never allow himself to stay under Carter knowing Carter can arrest him at any time. He will either kill Carter or get enough evidence against Carter and flip it that anything Carter has on him will be worthless. He could also be willing to work with Carter to take Cane down and become the number two or one of Queens.
