In terms of Jurisdiction, no one was challenging Gyakye Quasons win or results. Sammy, I thought you were a lawyer. This was a breach of the constitution. Constitutional matters can be heard by the Supreme Court.

Also the court wanted to make it clear. One cannot have undue advantage over Ghanaian citizens when running for office. It cannot be am Canadian citizen, let me go and try the primaries if I don't win then I can go back to Canada. 😂. Thats unfair to those living in Ghana.
What you are saying is conjecture not facts.
Ghanaians should stop with these unnecessary and incessant politics which adds NO VALUE to the advancement of Ghana. Sammy Gyamfi is always lawyering on every topic and always sanctimoniously accusing NPP of the same things both NPP and NDC are guilty of, depending on who is in power.
Ghanaians need to focus on large scale agriculture and farms to feed themselves and stop the disgraceful acts of importing food when there’s so much arable land. Ghanaians should stop illegally connecting to ECG and water lines to avoid paying. Ghanaians should stop this despicable bribery and corruption in every facet of the government civil service.
These TV talking heads who focus on negativity of who said what and did what should rather go into the hinterland and investigate the people behind the destructive Galamsey. It looks like the whole country has lost focus on what’s important. Too much time is spent on TV shows discussing trivial illegalities that really have no significant impact on Ghana. Ghanaians need to FOCUS on important things that move the country forward.
Politicians should by law live at least 3 months in one year in the constituencies they represent to really serve the people and feel their pain.

Does the Canadian government have an option not to grant the renunciation? They don't. If I decide not to be a Ghanaian citizen again to be a citizen of, say, Canada, can the Ghana government forbid me? Certainly not. So, you have no case my guy. The very day Quayson filed his renunciation and forwarded his Canadian passports and other documents to them was the day he lost his rights and privileges as a Canadian citizen.
Besides, the supreme court erred in equating allegiance to citizenship. These 3 words are not same, Nationality, Citizenship, and allegiance are different and not the same. When a president or MP is elected and sworn in, he takes he oath of office and oath of allegiance. Why did he take the oath of allegiance if allegiance is the same as citizenship? Was he not already a citizen of Ghana before becoming President or MP or even a judge?
We are aware of how JB Danquah and his fellow CIA conspirators were citizens of Ghana and not the US or UK, yet owned allegiance to CIA and the 2 countries to the extent of being conduits by means of which the constitution was undermined by the 1966 coup. Did Kotoka and Ankrah lose their Ghanaian citizenship by staging that coup? But, were they loyal to the constitution which they overthrew?
Go back and study the facts and stop allowing yourself to be emotionally blackmailed by the NPP.
