  • In this video, we'll see an Android System design interview question. This will help you prepare for any Android Engineering role.
    More often than not, system design is limited to backend engineers, but system design is also asked from Android Engineers. I couldn't find any resource to prepare for android system design interview.
    Hence I thought of creating this resource on android system design.

    Great video. For the price being preferred as string , one reason is as you said, precision. Other one is different currencies have different display style. If the backend does not send back the correctly formatted string for the price, each of the clients will have to contain that logic.

    Implementing MVP in 2022 for android is red flag, don't try to go easier route

    • @desicoder
      @desicoder  Před 2 lety +1

      I'd disagree. In system design interviews it's much better if you can show better design capabilities rather than working on the latest tech.
      Latest tech can be learnt but design sense comes with experience.

    • @mjuresic
      @mjuresic Před 2 lety +1

      @@desicoder generally speaking I agree. But when you compare mvvm with MVP it is not that much of problem. And showing MVP is like saying you are still doing android in Java. It is ok, but shows you are not updated yet with the rest of the community

    • @desicoder
      @desicoder  Před 2 lety +1

      @@mjuresic Well to be honest I've given Android interviews in Java recently and I can tell you that I faced no issues. Maybe different circumstances :)
      But I get your point too.
