Asia & BJ, you’d like their "Ferry Cross the Mersey" "I'm the One" and "You'll Never Walk Alone"!!
That’s my favourite of theirs
What a beautiful childhood this music is a part of mine 1960s
This is such a sweet, nostalgic song. Thanks guys for reacting to this oldie🧡
Love this song love the lyrics and the group!
They were a big group in the British invasion right after the Beatles , them , the Stones, the animals the hollies, the kinks, he had some great big hits!
"You'll Never Walk Alone"!! 💯✨⭐🌟!!
Gerry and The Pacemakers, were the first artists to have 3 successive no.1's in the British charts
one of my favorite songs. "ferry cross the mersey" is also worth a reaction, if you havent already done one. :)
The G is pronounced J so Jerry…..takes me back to my 9 years old self … parents had a cafe so we had a juke box so I was hearing all the great music since I was born
A banger by this band is: "It's Going To Be All Right"
The story behind this song: Gerrymandering had to be on the road, his girl didn't like it and she broke up with him. Feeling sad about losing her, he wrote this song, dedicated to her
When she hears it, she called him, and he asked her to marry him in 1965 and they stayed married until he passed away in 2021 at 78 They had 2 daughters.
Gerry Marsden.......a great one from Liverpool I think....same as the Beatles.
Love this song
What a great song
Produced by The Beatles' producer George Martin. And Martin also plays the beautiful oboe obbligato.
What a song listen to it back in the day
I play this song on my guitar all the time.
Ty guys...this is a beautiful tune and a great reaction...
Yes, beautiful melancholy song.....singer's name is pronounced "Jerry" but spelled with a G. , Gerry Marsden. RIP.
Gerry as in Jerry. Beautiful slow dance song from my High School days.
Same manager as The Beatles. Most Brits spell Jerry with a G.
Most Americans spell Gerry with a J. I wonder what it's short for in that case?
@@bibakroll8999 I'm guessing it's short for Gerald, but spelt with a J it could be Jeremy
I have several of their albums, since they were released. Jim
A much missed Gerry and his Brother Fred. played the Cavern many times with the Beatles and with them in Hamburg. Absolute Legends. YNWA
Memories ❤
Such abeautiful song and beautiful voice teenager during the British invasion
It's like Jerry. Gary is spelled with an "a".
My mother was from Liverpool and used to ride the ferry across the Mersey River. Like the other huge hit from this group, during the British Invasion in the 60's.
They were good friends with The Beatles too; really good band.
They had a couple of good hits . Ferry cross the Mersey should be next .
You need to listen to Woman by Gary Puckett & the Union Gap
My favorite
Marks take: Good singer, nice song . Another good British invasion band
Always dug his voice. I heard all their songs back then
Ferry across the Mersey is quite good.
Also love you will never walk alone learnjng to play on my casio keyboards
Ricki Lee Jones does a fantastic version/ tribute to this song...❤️
Elton John - Sad Songs Say So Much, you guys will love it ❤
Great old song. Check out Gary Lewis and the Playboys he was Jerry Lewis's son.
I always heard the name pronounced with the hard G making it sound like Jerry.
Very good arrangement by George Martin. Subtle Piano
SUMMER OF '64, i WAS 17 Y/O, HEADING TO 18 . RIP, GERRY MARSDEN ----MJL, 77 Y/O
Gerry as in Jerry. Great band, great song.
Wow, haven’t heard this in a minute!! Not my favorite of theirs but brings back some memories.
Such a pretty song. 😊
Beautiful song
Their song "How Do You Do It" is a bit more upbeat. Pretty popular band back in the day.
There is also a great cover of this by Paul Carrack, Mike +The Mechanics lead singer the man has a voice of velvet
They just don't make nostalgia like they used to.
Here is a song you should listen to called ( MOTHER of MINE ) by a 12 year old Scottish boy called ( Neil Reid )from 1971
Gerry (Gerald) and Jerry (Jeremiah)... but Gery as in Gary.
Females: Jeri, Geri (Geraldine)
Gerry sounds like it's spelled with a J but it's not. It's Gerry.
Hello guys, love the channel! I don't know where the right avenue is to put in a request, but can you please react to "Van Halen - Year to the Day - Eddie's bluesy solo"? It's with lead singer Gary Cherone on the VHIII tour. The CZcams clip is mainly just Eddie's solo and not the whole song, but it is AMAZING! Thanks.
Jeff buckley did a cover of this song. It's more of a blues rendition.
Beautiful song..way too short💞✌️
These guys were massive here in the UK and for a time were as popular as The Beatles, before the latter left everyone in the popular music scene behind.
If you see some live performances from that period, this group also had the sqealing, screaming fans which we all remember with The Beatles

try Eric Burdon and the Animals/When I was Young
British invasion classic
YOUR OPEN CHAT SEEMS TO BE BETWEEN OTHERS RATHER THAN YOU!!!
What on earth do you mean???
This music didn’t age well. And puts me to sleep.
Sorry. Go to sleep then. Don't care
Sorry you are in the minority …but then I think you are probably a bot !!’
Feel bad for you doing these crusty old songs and why don't you have ads ?
